HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for the disposal of liquid waste includes a portable container body having an open interior and a liquid waste inlet for receiving liquid waste containing solids. A liquid waste holding tank is provided within the open interior of the portable container body for receiving the liquid waste from the liquid waste inlet. A liquid-solid separator within the open interior of the portable container body produces a solid waste and a separated liquid waste. A conduit directs the liquid waste from the liquid waste holding tank to the liquid-solid separator. An evaporator within the open interior of the portable container body heats the separated liquid waste to evaporate and remove water from the separated liquid waste as water vapor and produces a concentrated liquid waste. A safety containment system prevents the liquid waste from escaping to the environment. A method for disposing of liquid waste is also disclosed.

The filter assembly includes a valve assembly mounted inside the manifold, and a by-pass channel defined inside the manifold between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The valve assembly includes a valve body, a by-pass valve system, and a shut off valve system. The by-pass valve system includes a by-pass valve piston having a piston body, and a by-pass valve spring arranged to move the by-pass valve piston. The shut off valve system includes a shut off valve piston, and a shut off valve spring arranged to move the shut off valve piston.
Steam generator with pre-heat chamber and filter
A steam generator includes a pre-heat chamber configured to heat incoming water to a temperature less than the boiling point of water, where the pre-heat chamber is configured to heat the water such that if the water contains a calcium compound, the calcium compound is caused to take a particulate form. The steam generator also includes a filter assembly in fluid communication with the pre-heat chamber, the filter assembly including a removable particulate filter element, where the filter element is reusable and cleanable. The steam generator also includes a water pump in fluid communication with the filter assembly, and operative to cause water flow through the steam generator and a boiler in fluid communication with the water pump, where the water pump is configured to cause water to flow to the boiler, and where the boiler is configured to boil water such that steam is produced.
System for treating wash waste liquid, adapted for application in a continuous tunnel washing machine in the field of preclinical pharmaceutical research
A system for treating wash waste liquid is described, configured for coupling to a wash module of a continuous Tunnel washing machine for the field of Preclinical Pharmaceutical Research, said wash module (12) comprising a wash chamber (25), characterized in that it comprises: a wash tub (22) with a side wall (31) substantially cylindrical in shape, with a tangential liquid suction outlet (33) and a substantially conical bottom, with a wash waste drain point (35) at the vertex of the cone, said tangential suction being adapted to generate a rotational motion of the liquid in said tub, said tub being positioned under said wash chamber (25), so as to receive said wash liquid by gravity; a centrifugal wash pump (21) with an open impeller, adapted to take in liquid from said tangential liquid suction outlet (33); an in-line filter (26) with an internal filter cartridge of the “wedge-wire” type, adapted to filter the liquid coming from said centrifugal pump (21) and deliver it back, filtered, into said wash chamber (25), and comprising a flush valve (27) for discharging the filtering waste.
Solenoid valve
The present disclosure relates to a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve includes an armature provided inside the sleeve, a plunger configured to ascend and descend by the operation of the armature, an elastic member configured to press the plunger toward the armature, a magnet core having a through hole in which the plunger and the elastic member are provided and forming an inner space in a longitudinal direction, a valve seat provided in the inner space and on which an orifice penetrating in an axial direction is formed to be opened and closed by the plunger, and a plurality of flow resistance members each including a ring body interposed between the valve seat and the magnet core to generate a flow resistance of a braking fluid, and a slot formed at one side of the ring body to penetrate through the ring body so that the braking fluid passes therethrough.

Systems may include a source of recovered fluid from a wellbore operation; a filtration unit receiving the recovered fluid and isolating a fraction of solids from the recovered fluid, the filtration unit having a backflush mode in which the fraction of solids is evacuated from the filtration unit; and a defluidizing tank receiving the evacuated fraction of solids to generate a filtrate and dried solids.
POOL SKIMMER BASKET SYSTEM
The present invention relates to apparatuses for improving pool skimmers. In some embodiments, the apparatus is a pool skimmer basket system that includes a skimmer basket, a first tube that is attached to the skimmer basket, and a second tube that is adjacent to and rotatable relative to the first tube. The first tube includes a longitudinal slot that feeds water into the skimmer basket. Without being bound by any particular theory, it is believed that the slot increases the velocity of water flowing into the basket and that the system increases the debris-holding capacity and allows one to avoid having to reach through dirty water to remove the skimmer basket.
