FILTER ARRANGEMENTS
A filter arrangement includes a cleaning mechanism for cleaning at least one screen filter of the filter arrangement. The cleaning mechanism has a flush chamber, a central hollow core that extends through the flush chamber, and suction nozzles fitted to the core. The core extends between opposing axial ends that are located outside of the flush chamber in exposure to substantially similar pressures at least during a cleaning operation of the cleaning mechanism.
Filter element wave seal gland
Provided is a cartridge assembly having first and second cartridges sealed by an interface member having a first sealing member along a radially outer surface thereof having a non-planar geometry around the outer surface and a second sealing member along the radially outer surface having a non-planar geometry around the outer surface. The sealing members may each have a repeating, undulating, non-planar geometry around the outer surface. The cartridges have ends with matching geometries to allow the cartridges to engage in surface-to-surface relation around their entire extents to create with the interface member an air tight seal.

Filter assemblies, filter elements, and methods for filtering liquids
A filter assembly includes a housing and a first filter, a second filter, and a heat exchanger all positioned in the housing. The filter assembly also includes a first inlet and a first outlet and defines a first liquid flow path. The first liquid flow path may extend within the housing between the first inlet and the first outlet through the first filter and along a first side of the heat exchanger. The filter assembly further includes a second inlet and a second outlet and defines a second liquid flow path. The second liquid flow path may extend within the housing between the second inlet and the second outlet through the second filter and along a second side of the heat exchanger.

Candle-type filtering device for preventing back pressure
A device for filtering ballast water which performs filtering by installing a filter element having a conical shape in a concentric circle direction inside the device for filtering ballast water that accommodates a filter portion, and introducing ballast water from a lower end of the device for filtering and passing same through the filter element inside the device for filtering, and for discharging backwash water containing foreign substances that are inside a filter by ways of differential pressure, which is created by a driving portion communicating with a filter element by rotating an aspiration portion that is located on the lower end of the device for filtering. In particular, the present invention relates to a candle-type device for filtering ballast water, wherein the driving portion is positioned on a lower portion of the housing so that more filter elements can be accommodated inside the housing.
