Device for treating fluid
A device for treating fluid, in particular a filter device, has first and second tubular elements (12), (14) forming an element assembly (10). One element (14) is accommodated in the other element (12) forming a flow chamber (33) between the two elements (12, 14), with a first element (12) arranged in the direction of the inflow side (29) of a fluid to be treated and a second element (14) arranged in the direction of the outflow side (31) of the treated fluid in the element assembly (10). During the fluid treatment, the flow is routed through both elements (12, 14) in succession from the direction of the inflow side (29) towards the outflow side (31). In a joint viewing direction (P), the first element (12) facing the inflow side (29) at least partially has a uniform or non-uniform contour and the second element (14) facing the outflow side (31) at least partially has a non-uniform or uniform contour.
FUEL FILTER
A fuel filter may include a housing and a coalescer arranged in the housing. The coalescer may be configured to separate out water contained in a fuel. The coalescer may include a coalescer material suitable for coalescing water. The fuel may be flowable through the coalescer in a throughflow direction. The coalescer material may include a plurality of fibres, which may have a primary orientation that is essentially parallel to the throughflow direction.
PARTICLE FILTER SYSTEM
A particle filtration system that includes first, second and third filter segments that each include several first, second and third filters. Each first, second and third filter includes a fibrous layer sandwiched between a pair of surface or outer layers. The range of pore sizes of each first, second and third filter varies according to the density of the surface layers relative to the fibrous layers.

Filter device particularly filter cartridge for water filters in aircraft
The invention relates to a filter device (100), particularly a filter cartridge (10), for water filters in aircraft comprising a housing (11), wherein the housing (11) comprises an entry region (12) for water to be filtered and a discharge region (24) for filtered water, and wherein a first filter unit (26) and a second filter unit (27) are arranged in the housing (11). The first filter unit (26) comprises an activated charcoal filter (28) and the second filter unit (27) comprises a microfilter (30).
FILTRATION SYSTEM
An annular filter includes a first annulus wall and a second annulas wall being impermeable to fluid (liquid and gas), a first circular wall and a second circular wall mounted between the first annulas wall and second annulas wall wherein the first and second circular wall are permeable to fluid (liquid and gas), at least one dividing wall mounted between the first and second circular wall to divide an internal volume defined between the first and second annulas wall and the first and second circular wall into channels, bisecting walls between the first and second circular walls to change a direction of fluid flow from a first direction to a second direction first and second channels, turbulator walls mounted channel, wherein the turbulator walls cause turbulent fluid flow in the channels, and a filter media positioned in at least one of the channels.
Filter systems and related methods
Filter systems disclosed herein collapse for storage purposes and include mechanisms to continuously fill an upper chamber, allowing it to be smaller and to include more filters. A UVC light in a lower chamber sanitizes water entering therein. Water entering the lower chamber may pass through a quartz tube near the UVC light for sufficient exposure. The UVC light may be cycled between shorter periods of higher intensity and longer periods of lower intensity. A low power source such as a small solar array and/or battery may power the UVC light. A proximity switch may control the UVC light by providing power to the light only when the upper chamber is engaged with the lower chamber which may protect the user from exposure to the UVC light. Sealing mechanisms between the upper and lower chambers, as well as tote mechanisms and an alternative bucket filter system are disclosed.
MICROPLASTIC EFFLUENT SEPARATOR WITH WASH APPARATUS
The invention relates to preventing microplastics from the entering the environment. In particular the invention is directed to regenerating the efficiency of filters for removing microfibers from washing machine waste water, as well as waste from other appliances and other sources of effluent with entrained microplastics. A separator is therefore provided for separating microplastics from waste water comprising a chamber with an inlet and an outlet, at least one sieve structure forming a permeable barrier between the inlet and the outlet and a wash apparatus for washing the sieve structure.
