Optimization of rotary filters relative to risk of clogging a facility for pumping water from a natural site

In the management of a facility pumping water from a natural environment containing impurities, the facility makes use of at least one rotary filter purifying the pumped water while some impurities at least partially clog the rotary filter. In particular, provision is made for estimating an evolution over time of a pressure loss caused by impurities clogging the rotary filter, based at least on data relating to the natural environment, dimensions of the rotary filter, and local measurements relating to at least one water level N.sub.amont upstream of the filter and to a flow rate of water Q.sub.aspiré drawn in downstream of the filter. Such an estimate of the evolution over time of the pressure loss makes it possible to anticipate possible risks of insufficient water supply to the pumping system (POM) downstream of the filter (FIL), or even to design filters (FIL) adapted to the needs of specific pumping facilities.

The present disclosure relates to a fiber discfilter, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a fiber discfilter with a means of forming grooves on a surface of filter cloths, the fiber discfilter being configured such that foreign substances in a deep part of a filter cloth having bristles as well as foreign substances on a surface of the filter cloth may be smoothly captured during a process of filtering inflow water, and all the foreign substances captured on the surface part and in the deep part of the filter cloth may be smoothly removed during a cleaning process by a cleaning means. The present disclosure provides a fiber discfilter including a groove forming means for forming a groove in a surface of a filter cloth, the fiber discfilter including: a filter unit configured such that a plurality of filter segments each having front and rear surfaces on which filter cloths each having a surface provided with bristles are installed is installed on an outer portion of a drum so that inflow water is filtered by being introduced into the filter segments while passing through the filter cloths; a cleaning means configured to remove foreign substances captured in the filter cloths; and a groove forming means disposed to be positioned at the periphery of the filter unit and having a plurality of protrusions configured to be inserted into the surface of the filter cloth and form grooves in the surface of the filter cloth when the filter unit rotates, such that foreign substances on the surface of the filter cloth and foreign substances in a deep part of the filter cloth are uniformly captured during a process of filtering the inflow water, and the foreign substances captured in the deep part of the filter cloth are exposed during a process of cleaning the filter cloth, such that the foreign substances captured in the deep part are smoothly removed.

SEPTIC TANK AUTOMATIC EFFLUENT FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM
20220266177 · 2022-08-25 ·

The invention includes an automatic effluent filter cleaning system that prevents sewage backups. The system includes an outlet baffle with filter, spray assembly, inlet and outlet flappers, pump, and strainers. The spray assembly actuates the baffles to control effluent flow prior, during, and after the cleaning process. During a high-water level condition, the pump engages and pumps effluent water from the septic tank to close the inlet flapper to prevent additional effluent water from entering the outlet baffle. Similarly, effluent water is pumped to close the outlet flapper to prevent effluent water from leaving the baffle. Spray outlets spray effluent water to remove debris from the filter. An outer chamber receives and channels the debris to strainers, which retain the removed debris while allowing the effluent water to return to the septic tank. Once the water level recedes to a safe level, the flappers are opened, and operation resumes.
