Compact double shut-off valve

A valve member having a first flow path and a second flow path, and configured to control both flow paths through a filter assembly. The valve member allows control of the two flow streams in a compact space compared to traditional valves. The valve member may require less space to operate due to its compact nature as compared to traditional external valves with multiple handles that each require space to rotate. The valve member may also be used to easily shut-off flow to a filter of a filter assembly without limiting use of another filtration assembly in the same filtration system. Alternatively, the valve member may shut off flow to a corresponding filter of a stand-alone filter assembly that is not connected to another filter assembly. Also, the valve member allows less expensive and more lightweight filtration systems.

The lid assembly is configured to couple to the lower collar of the outer wall. The lid assembly has an upper collar configured to threadedly mate with the lower collar. The upper collar has at least one housing that projects from the upper collar, the housing having an interior surface, and at least one biasing clip pivotally mounted within the housing for releasable engagement with the lock notch. A pair of pipeline filter assemblies, wherein at least one connection plate is used.

Preferably, each discrete filter assembly includes a seal arrangement disposed between the cap and the mount body and which orients the sealing interface therebetween at an acute angle relative to an axis of rotation of the cap relative to the mount body when the cap and mount body are engaged with one another.

The inlet is to receive a flow of fluid into the filter housing. The outlet is to release the flow of fluid from the filter housing. The pair of levers are to draw the bowl partially into the head. Each lever has a first arm configured to mate with the annular groove, a second arm having a bearing surface, and a pivot disposed between the first arm and the second arm. A force upon the bearing surface urges the bowl into the head to form a seal.
