OIL AIR SEPARATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD

The oil air separator system is designed to stop oil contaminated air from entering the intake manifold. All engines have a vacuum hose from the valve cover or valley pan connected to the intake manifold. The device serves to evacuate blow by from the engine. The contaminated air (with oil vapors) is effectively removed. This prevents oil deposits from being realized inside the intake manifold and on the spark plugs. By removing the dirty air, the engine can breathe clean air. The container can hold the oil and water while the filter inside keeps the air clean reducing pollution.

Integral filter retaining rack

The invention pertains to a filter retaining assembly which is rigid and self-supportive without requiring any additional structural reinforcement. The design maximizes the filter surface to be used for air filtration and increases the filtration efficiency. The invention is also designed to minimize the filter assembly size to fit into the valuable space when the air handling unit physical dimension is constrained. The invention uses integral construction methods to save assembly time and labor by eliminating the need of using alignment holes and fastening each individual frame to construct a conventional filter retaining assembly. The proposed method maintains flexibility of scaling to any filter size and quantity.

A high capacity and high efficiency vapor-liquid contacting apparatus and process is useful in distillation columns and other vapor-liquid contacting processes. The apparatus is characterized by a half module comprising a downcomer against a shell of a vessel for transporting liquid to a subjacent stage which utilizes a demister to effect vapor-liquid separation at the downcomer outlet.

A humidifying air purifier includes a door assembly supported and configured to be selectively drawn out of a front side of a cabinet and drawn into the front side of the cabinet to respectively open and close an inner portion of the cabinet. The door assembly includes an accommodation portion configured to support an air filter and a humidifying device which are both drawn out of and into the humidifying air purifier with the door assembly.

Filter conditioning unit for high-volume sampling filters

Disclosed is a filter conditioning unit for cleaning and conditioning high-volume sampling (HVS) filters. The unit includes, among other elements, a filter tray suitable for holding one or more HVS filters, a manifold in which the filter tray is inserted, and an optional enclosure for safety. The manifold is suitable for heating the filter tray and filters therein to a desired temperature while purge gas is introduced to the manifold. Also described herein is a method of using the filter conditioning unit.

A series of filters of graduating sizes are contained inside the filter module. Each of the filters are inside filter trays which allow them to be removed and replaced when needed. The filtering assembly filters either liquid or gas fluids.
