Systems and Methods for In-person Live Action Gaming
Various embodiments provide systems and methods for live action gaming. According to one embodiment, a method facilitates scoring for an in-person, live-action game, for example, a projectile-tag scoring game or the like, involving multiple players. A gaming outfit worn by a first player or a projectile launcher of a second player may determine a shot hit by the second player against the first player based at least in part on detection of an impact of a projectile fired by the projectile launcher with the gaming outfit. A score for the in-person, live-action game may then be updated based on the shot hit.
Gaming tag system
A gaming system may include: an infrared signal emitter configured to emit an infrared signal, the infrared emitter being configured to emit a predetermined number of emissions per a simulated reloading action, the infrared signal being configurable to be associated with one of at least a first team, a second team, and a neutral team, the infrared signal emitter including a handle to be grasped by a player and a trigger to effect emission of the infrared signal; and an infrared signal receiver configured to receive the infrared signal associated with one of the at least the first team, the second team, and the neutral team. Optionally, the gaming system may include a stationary receiver and emitter for integrated use with game players in a further modification of the methods and uses herein. The stationary receiver and emitter may receive and transmit signals, store a memory of activities, teams, players, and other game-playing benefits.
Interactive maze attraction systems and methods
An attraction system includes a first level, a second level positioned vertically above or below the first level, and one or more controllers configured to present a game environment to one or more riders in a ride vehicle as the ride vehicle travels along a path on the first level. The attraction system also includes a lift configured to move the ride vehicle vertically from the first level to the second level based at least in part on a performance of the one or more riders in the game environment.
BOARD GAME SYSTEM. METHOD OF USE, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A board game featuring a board having a removable rotatable tower having an arm extending away from it and a hook for receiving a ring hung from a string from the arm. Players move their pieces about the board. Cards may be drawn at random intervals. The player may be required to toss the ring towards the hook located on the tower. Successfully hooking the ring to the tower may affect the outcome of the player's turn. The tower may be rotated on the board, so that each player can swing the ring, depending on outcomes from the various features of the game, including the cards, dice rolls, and space locations on the game board.
Video game incorporating safe live-action combat
Video games can be improved upon by combining traditional gameplay mechanics (e.g., a player's use of a controller) and live-action combat elements that may be measured and scored. For example, a player may fire projectiles at a target when prompted by a game, may have to dodge projectiles fired at the player as part of the game, may have to traverse the room to touch or move an object, and/or may have to strike a dummy or other object as instructed by the game. Such live-action combat aspects may be incorporated into a video game having otherwise traditional gameplay mechanics.
Parabolic Ball Launcher Amusement Game
A wheel for an amusement game is disclosed that is rotated by a motor at a constant speed and has a plurality of apertures, wherein each aperture is provided with a sensor that positioned on the wheel and consequently, when a game piece or ball falls passes though the aperture it is immediately read by the sensor and therefore the wheel element can provide a signal to a processor to provide immediate feedback to a player reflecting the detection such as by providing sound effects, lighting effects and the activation of a ticket dispenser.
Electronic dart machine
The present invention relates to an electronic dart machine for displaying a point of a corresponding part in an area hit by a dart, using an LED. The present invention provides an electronic dart machine including: a dart target part, which has the shape of a board having multiple divided target areas and includes a sensor means for detecting the location of a target area hit by a dart; an LED display part positioned at a location corresponding to each target area along the periphery of the dart target part; and a controller for controlling an output display of each LED module by preset control logic, recognizing the location of the target area hit by the dart, through the sensor means, and producing a dart hitting result by linking a content of the output display of the LED module with the location of the target area hit by the dart.
