An assembly for pleating a filter media sheet and using the assembly with a pleated filter media as a filter for filtration units. The assembly includes a male member and a female member. The male member includes several pleat ridges arranged in rows and columns and the female member includes several pleat valleys arranged in rows and columns. The filter media sheet can be placed over the female member and a last column of pleat ridges can be gently pressed over a first column of pleat valleys, such that the first column is within the last column, respectively. The step can be repeated incrementally till the last column of the pleat ridges is within the last column of the pleat valleys progressively forming a pleated filter media sandwiched between the male member and the female member.

A coating material mist remover of the present disclosure includes: a first duct that discharges air containing coating material mist from an outflow port directed downward; a second duct having an inflow port opened in a horizontal direction; and an incinerable intermediate filter that is detachably connected between the first duct and the second duct and removes the coating material mist from the air. The coating material mist remover also includes: a first connection mechanism that can connect and separate the first duct and the intermediate filter; and a second connection mechanism that can connect and separate the second duct and the intermediate filter.

Systems and methods of filtering with filter assemblies including a frame having a header structure, an end cap structure, and a plurality of side plates coupling the header structure to the end cap structure are provided. The filter pleated media may include an upstream surface and a downstream surface opposite the upstream surface in a direction of flow through the filter assembly, and the filter pleated media may include a pleated configuration. The filter assemblies may further include a support member coupled to a portion of the frame and along at least one of the upstream surface or the downstream surface of the filter pleated media. The support member may at least partially penetrate the pleated configuration and extend into a pleat of the pleated configuration of the filter pleat media.
