METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GASIFYING CARBON-CONTAINING MATERIAL
An apparatus and a method for gasifying carbon-containing materials in which the material for gasification and oxygen, usually in the form of air, are supplied to a gas generator where the gasification takes place in a fixed bed reactor. The product gas is drawn off via a product gas line and introduced into a hot gas filter. A filter, preferably provided with filter candles, removes solids such as particles not yet gasified, ash and foreign bodies, while clean gas passes through and is taken off via a clean gas line. An outlet is provided in the bottom region of the hot gas filter to remove residual solids. The hot gas filter is supplied through a line with oxygen, preferably in the form of air, in its middle height region, between the filter bottom and the outlet.
Mutual switching type compressed air purification apparatus
Disclosed is a mutual switching type compressed air purification apparatus, comprising a main intake pipe, a main exhaust pipe, two vent valve assemblies, two drying cylinders and a solenoid valve. The main intake pipe is connected to the two vent valve assemblies of which inlet holes are communicated with the corresponding drying cylinders respectively, and air outlets of the drying cylinders are respectively connected to the main exhaust pipe. The solenoid valve is connected to a first pilot air hole of the first vent valve assembly, and also connected to a second pilot air hole of the second vent valve assembly to control the opening and closing of the vent valves, and valve cores of the solenoid valve are switched between a first valve position and a second valve position.
FILTER CARTRIDGE
A filter cartridge has a filter medium that is formed in such a way that it surrounds a central through-passage, wherein the central through-passage has a first opening and ends at a cartridge base, and wherein the filter medium extends between the first opening and the cartridge base and thereby forms an elongated filter body, which may influence the average ascent speed of air and bring about an optimum filtration operation, wherein the filter medium is rectangular or square-shaped at one end of the filter cartridge and is rounded at the other end.
FILTER ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A candle filter comprised of a hollow cylindrical tube having a wall with an interior surface and an exterior surface, wherein the candle filter comprises high temperature resistant inorganic fibers, at least one binder, and optionally a secondary binder, wherein the at least one binder and optional secondary binder is substantially uniformly distributed across the thickness of the candle filter wall. Also, a method for making the candle filter having at least one binder, and optionally a secondary binder at least substantially uniformly distributed across the thickness of the candle filter wall.
FILTER CANDLE WITH MINERAL ADDITIVE
The present invention relates to a filter candle element for the dedusting of industrial gases having improved properties concerning stability and environmental sustainability. This filter candle element comprises a filter body which is composed of inorganic fibers, and a mineral additive which is accumulated to the inorganic fibers. The mineral additive preferably comprises zeolite. Another aspect of the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a filter candle element for dedusting industrial gases. The method comprises the following steps: production of a slurry comprising inorganic fibers and a mineral additive; sucking in the slurry onto a suction core to form the filter candle element; drying of the formed filter candle element.
Product gas filter
A product gas filter with a filter housing, into which product gas of a wood gas reactor is supplied, by means of a product gas line, and is discharged as clean gas through a clean gas line. Long-chain hydrocarbons in the product gas stream can be at least substantially reduced, and a high filter performance achieved, where the filter is divided gas-tight into two parts by a separating tray in such a way that the product gas line is delivered to the lower region and the clean gas line exits from the upper collecting space; at least two filter cartridges, each coupled individually to a compressed air line and compressed air source, project into the lower region; and a zeolite container is connected to the lower portion of the filter via a compressed air source connectable, Venturi nozzle and a lockable line.
FILTER ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a ceramic filter arrangement comprising a ceramic filter and a support housed within the ceramic filter, wherein the support is in contact with inside walls of the ceramic filter.
Filter tube for high temperature gas-solid separation
A filter tube for high temperature gas-solid separation is provided that has a first cylinder and a second cylinder coaxially nested in the first cylinder with the first cylinder arranged so that an opening thereof faces upward, a first connection flange provided at a periphery of the opening of the first cylinder, and a circular through-hole provided at a bottom of the first cylinder. The second cylinder is nested in the first cylinder so that an opening of the second cylinder faces downward. The second cylinder has an end at an opening thereof that is hermetically connected to the circular through-hole of the first cylinder. The second cylinder has a bottom, and the bottom of the second cylinder and the opening of the first cylinder are at the same horizontal level. An annular gas passage is formed between the first cylinder and the second cylinder.
Apparatus and method for cleaning a stream
An apparatus and a method for cleaning a stream. The apparatus having at least one hot filtration device, which includes a filter vessel and at least one filter candle located inside the filter vessel, an inlet of medium in an upper part of the filter vessel for supplying the medium including particles to the filter vessel, an outlet of the medium in the bottom part for discharged the medium from the filter vessel, a moving bed including the medium which is arranged in the vessel so that the filter candle is inside the moving bed, at least one feed inlet for supplying the stream to the filter vessel, and at least one gas outlet for supplying a purified gas out from the filter vessel.
A PROCESS FOR THE OXIDATION OF HYDROGEN SULFIDE TO SULFUR TRIOXIDE WITH SUBSEQUENT SULFUR REMOVAL AND A PLANT FOR CARRYING OUT THE PROCESS
A process for the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide to sulfur trioxide with subsequent sulfur trioxide removal comprises oxidizing hydrogen sulfide to sulfur trioxide in at least one catalyst-containing reactor and feeding the effluent from the last reactor to a candle filter unit for SO.sub.3 removal, where it is mixed with an injected alkaline sorbent slurry or powder to form an alkali sulfate and a hot clean gas. Preferably the oxidation is done in two reactors, the first oxidizing H.sub.2S to SO.sub.2 over a monolith type catalyst and the second oxidizing SO.sub.2 to SO.sub.3 over a VK type catalyst.
