Educational Math Board Game
Educational math strategy games and methods of playing the same. The math strategy game may include a game board defining a plurality of spaces, a plurality of dice, and a plurality of distinct sets of game tokens for covering one or more of the plurality of spaces. During game play, a player may roll five dodecahedron dice and select a product of any two dice rolled. A token is placed onto the game board over one of the plurality of spaces matching the product selected. Game play continues until one player or team covers a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal series of adjacent spaces.
DEVICE FOR THE USE OF PLAYING DICE
A device (1) for the use of playing dice (D), comprises: a main body (2) having a plurality of chambers (3) each of which configured to contain a respective playing dice (D); and a box-shaped element (4) internally defining a compartment (5) for housing said main body (2) and being at least partly made of transparent material to visually access the interior of each chamber (3).
Methods for controlling movement of a dice
Methods are described for controlling movement of dice in a gaming system. The gaming system includes an input device controllable by a user and a platform for holding the dice. The platform may be moved up and down by a drive to cause the dice to be moved upward and thrown above the surface of the platform. Data received from the input device may be used to determine the upward motion of the platform. The data may include the distance a user is from the input device. The data may also include how hard, how far and/or how fast a user pushes the input device. Data received from the input device may not be used to determine the upward motion of the platform. The time at which the platform may be moved may be randomly determined.

Methods And Apparatus For A Board Game Utilizing An Expandable Board
Apparatus and methods for a board game using the concept of an expandable game board are offered. In a preferred embodiment, the game board represents an overview of a historical Japanese castle and there are four separate areas of the castle that are represented by four board quadrants or sections. The board game is playable with a single board section, with two board sections, with three board sections, or with all four board sections. When two or more board sections are utilized, the board sections operate in coordination to provide an expanded playing board wherein a player may control game pieces on a plurality of board sections and/or may move game pieces between board sections. Thus, movement of game characters and/or objects through the various buildings, structures, and grounds of a historical castle may be represented in a table-top board game, and the buildings, structures, and grounds may be expanded through the addition of one or more additional board sections. To advantageously enhance customer engagement and marketing opportunities, each additional section of the game board may be released separately and at predetermined future dates.
MULTI-PLAYER BOARD GAME
A multi-player board game includes six sets of 16 indexed playing elements or disks in each set, a board having six sectors, three regular dice, and one rule die. Each disk is flat at one side and has a certain sign on one side, common to all the indexed disks. Each sector includes six sequential sites for the indexed disks. Each of the regular dice has 1-6 numerals on their respective faces. The numerals determine a site for receiving an indexed disk, or a number of moves of an indexed disk between sites. The rule die cube has a data item on five of its faces. The data items are different from each other, and three of them include no numerals. Each data item communicates a certain playing rule. Each sector has a designated site for establishing a certain playing rule for playing disks received in the designated site. Each regular dice cube has 1-6 numerals. The game includes six indexed bags, and respective colors index the playing elements and the indexed bags. The invention includes both a box version and a computerized network version. In the network version, a server communicates with smartphones operated by the players.
Tool for rehabilitating language skills
Methods of using a tool for improving language skills comprising selecting a language concept and then a word associated with the language concept; asking the patient to answer a question related to the language concept about the first word; scoring the patient's response to the based upon at least one or more of the following: the number of words given, the number of prompts the patient needed to be provided in order to illicit the first response, the amount of time the patient needed to produce the first response; and then moving the word to a first location, that physically represents to the patient the first word score they achieved. Further aspects involve calculating a total therapeutic session score by totaling up all the individual word scores from the therapeutic session and producing a therapeutic session report. As well as comparing results across sessions.
Word forming game assembly
A word forming game assembly for entertainment includes a panel, which comprises an array of elements. Each element can selectively present a first view, a second view, and a third view to a player. An integer generating device randomly generates an integer and presents the integer to the player. The player is permitted to select a set of the elements from the array of elements, based on the integer, for presentation of the second view. The second view of each element comprises a subset of letters of an alphabet. The player can select one of the letters from the subset of letters for presentation in the third view. The selected ones of the letters from the sets of the letters are required to comprise a word.
Systems and Methods for Playing Enhanced Disc Golf
A method for playing disc golf on a course having a plurality of targets includes the steps of (a) obtaining a random selection device configured to randomly select one of a plurality of different types of throws, and one of a plurality of different types of discs, (b) the player activates the random selection device to obtain a randomly selected throw, and a randomly selected disc, and (c) the player throws the randomly selected disc with the randomly selected throw at the target. The steps are repeated for each target until the course is completed. The random selection device can be a set of dice.
Collapsible polyhedron
A collapsible, self-expanding polyhedron comprises a plurality of side members each connected with an elastic band that is sized to urge each side wall of adjacent side members together to form an expanded configuration. When the polyhedron is compressed on two opposing side members, which causes the other side members to separate into a collapsed configuration, the elastic band expands to a maximum length with maximum tension. Once the compression is released, the at least one elastic band retracts back to a minimum length and urges the side members back into the expanded configuration.
