High efficiency air filter device and operating method thereof
An air filter device and an operating method thereof. The air filter device comprises an air filter system and a powder distribution system. The air filter system comprises an air filter chamber (1), a clean air chamber (2), and a high-pressure jet pulse powder cleaning device (3). An entrance of the air filter chamber (1) is in communication with an air inlet pipe (4); an exit of the clean air chamber (2) is in communication with an air outlet pipe (6), and the air outlet pipe (6) is in communication with an exhaust fan (9). A plurality of bag filters or filter cartridges (10) are disposed in the air filter chamber (1). An opening end of each of the bag filters or filter cartridges (10) is in communication with the clean air chamber (2), and high-pressure jet pulse powder cleaning devices (3) are disposed above the opening end of the corresponding bag filters or filter cartridges (10). The powder distribution system includes a powder storage tank (13), which is in communication, via a powder delivery tube (15), with the air inlet pipe (4) of the air filter chamber (1). The operating method comprises a first powder distribution step and a second powder distribution step, which are respectively performed according to pressure detection status of the air filter chamber (1).
AIR INTAKE FILTER ASSEMBLIES WITH A MULTI-LEVEL FINE FILTER FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND/OR AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEMS
The present disclosure relates generally to air intake filter assemblies, and more particularly to air intake assemblies for an outdoor portion of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. In an embodiment, a filter assembly is configured to filter an airflow entering an air intake of a HVAC unit. The filter assembly includes a first layer of a first coarse mesh, a second layer of a second coarse mesh, and a fine filter disposed between the first layer and the second layer. Additionally, the fine filter includes an upper level and a lower level with respect to the airflow, and wherein the lower level facilitates accumulation of fine debris captured from the airflow entering the air intake of the HVAC unit.
Smoke Evacuating Fryer
A smoke evacuating fryer, comprising a fryer body, an exhaust vent, a lid engaged on the fryer body, and a frying basket and a smoke evacuating and filtering apparatus provided within the fryer body An air intake gap is provided at a location where the lid and the fryer body are joined. The smoke evacuating and filtering apparatus is provided on the fryer body (1) and abuts against the frying basket. Air introduced into the air intake gap is passed over the frying basket, filtered by the smoke evacuating and filtering apparatus and then discharged via the exhaust vent.
NANOPOROUS METAL FOAM GAS AND FLUID FILTERS
A metal foam-based filtration system and method for removing sub-micron particles and contaminants from a gas or fluid flow with the use of ultralow density metal nanowire meshes that have nanometer to micron scale pores for trapping air/fluid-borne particulates. Filters can use metal foams and coated metal foams alone or in tandem. The size and density of pores in the foam can be adjusted with synthesis conditions. Foams with pore size gradients promote the trapping of different sized particulates at different regions of a foam. Multiple rounds of electrodeposition may be applied to increase the surface area and curvature of a nanowire mesh and strengthen the mesh to make it self-supporting, free-standing and capable of supporting a much heavier mass without collapse. A metal and/or a coated metal foam can act as a catalyst or substrate for absorption or adsorption to capture target particles and/or contaminants.
E-cigarette with valve allowing exhale filter
An electronic cigarette particularly adaptable to vaporize liquid material also having exhale filter function is disclosed herein. The exhale function is useful to prevent second hand smoke in an enclosed environment, for example. An innovative diverter valve assembly comprises a unique duckbill valve configuration diverting air through a cooker chamber and into a mouthpiece in an inhale function and diverting exhaled air around the cooker chamber in the exhale function and through a filter assembly. A preferred embodiment further introduces a unique shape to the smoking instrument being elliptical in the cross-section and tapering to proximal and distal ends.
Fan assembly
There is provided a fan assembly comprising a fan body comprising a first air inlet and a second air inlet, the first air inlet and the second air inlet being provided on opposing halves of the fan body. The fan assembly also comprises a first filter assembly mounted on the fan body over the first air inlet, and a second filter assembly mounted on the fan body over the second air inlet. The fan body further comprises a first retention assembly that is configured to releasably engage both the first filter frame and the second filter frame, and a second retention assembly that is also configured to releasably engage both the first filter frame and the second filter frame.

The environmental air cleaning device is provided with a mounting device that rigidly couples to a vehicle-side mounting device for roof loads. A road vehicle with such an environmental air cleaning device is provided.

A dry filter 1 to be used in particular in underground mining and tunnel construction having a frame construction 17 into which the required part housings 25-28 can be inserted from the side. The required partition wall 8 is arranged so that an optimal large filtering surface is available both for the incoming raw gas and for the outflowing clean gas. Raw gas duct 5 and clean gas duct 6 run horizontally one above the other and are separated from each other by the sloping 8. This means that a very large filtering surface is available.
SILOXANE MITIGATION IN MACHINE SYSTEM HAVING BLOWER FOR PRESSURE DROP COMPENSATION
A siloxane mitigation system for a machine system having an internal combustion engine includes a siloxane trap having a plurality of adsorbent cartridges fluidly in parallel with one another, an air precleaner fluidly connected to a trap housing inlet, and a blower structured to blow intake air to the siloxane trap to compensate for a pressure drop across the siloxane trap. A trap performance sensor of the siloxane mitigation system is structured for monitoring an exhaust pressure to indicate performance degradation of the siloxane mitigation system and activate an operator-perceptible alert.
AIR FILTER PRECLEANER
An apparatus and methods are provided for an air filter precleaner for an open air filter box. The air filter precleaner includes a filter medium between a base and a grating that are fastened over an opening into an interior of the air filter box. The filter medium comprises a sheet of filter material having a shape and a size suitable for being supported between the base and the grating. The base is a rigid member that supports the filter medium in a sheet configuration, such that the airstream passes through the filter medium before entering the air filter box. The grating is a rigid member comprising a screen portion surrounded by a frame that is configured to be fastened onto the air filter box. The screen portion comprises a shaped lattice that allows the airstream to pass through the filter medium before entering the air filter box.
