A system for filtering a gas-solids mixture, comprises: a housing a separating body dividing the housing in a raw gas chamber and a clean gas chamber, the raw gas chamber being accessible via an inlet for the gas-solids mixture and the clean gas chamber comprising an outlet for discharging a cleaned gas; a number of filter elements suspended from the separating body; lower ends of the filter elements being connected to a support grid the support grid comprising a number of arms; one or more cleaning elements provided on the arms of the support grid for cleaning thereof.

A laundry treatment apparatus, including: at least two containers arranged in parallel, wherein a container is used for accommodating laundry; and a drying device, alternatively communicated with the container to form a circulation path, wherein the drying device is used for dehumidifying a humid airflow from the container into a dry airflow, and the dry airflow enters the container to dry the laundry.

A laundry treatment apparatus, including: at least two containers arranged in parallel, wherein a container is used for accommodating laundry; and a drying device, alternatively communicated with the container to form a circulation path, wherein the drying device is used for dehumidifying a humid airflow from the container into a dry airflow, and the dry airflow enters the container to dry the laundry.

A minimum floor space air filter unit has an outer housing defined by side walls which has a height that is substantially larger than the base. A blower is mounted in the base. An elongated filter column is mounted in the housing. The blower is positioned below the elongated filter column to draw air with entrained particulate into an air inlet and through the elongated filter column for exiting the housing through an air outlet. Entrained particulate is captured on the exterior surface of the elongated filter column. At least one nozzle is positioned within the interior core of the elongated filter column to pulse air from the interior through the elongate filter media column to remove entrained particulate from the exterior surface.

A filter apparatus including: a casing including, in a sealed space provided therein, a fluid inflow chamber, a filtration chamber and a drain chamber; a filter element provided inside the filtration chamber to let a fluid pass therethrough from inside to outside to perform filtration; a backwash slide member movably provided inside the filter element and removing trapped matter adhering to an inner circumferential surface of the filter element by an inward flow generated by a difference in pressure inside and outside the filter element at the time of backwashing; a backwash pipe that lets the inward flow flow toward the drain chamber; an actuation cylinder that lets the fluid from the backwash pipe flow toward the drain chamber; and a fluid flowing unit allowing a fluid to flow, enabling a piston member to move inside the actuation cylinder.

The filtering apparatus includes: a casing having an inlet for a fluid from the outside and an outlet for the fluid having filtered therein; filter elements having opposite-end openings, provided in the casing, and each filtering the fluid by allowing the fluid to flow therethrough in inside-to-outside directions; backwashing pipes sequentially connected to the opposite-end openings at different timings between the opposite-end openings of each filter element so as to backwash the filter element by allowing the fluid to flow therethrough in outside-in directions; removers each axially moved in the corresponding filter element by the filtration or backwashing flow, while sliding in contact with the inner periphery of the filter element so as to remove trapped objects; and a backwashing fluid drain pipe coupled to the discharge side of the backwashing pipes and allowing the trapped objects removed by each remover to be discharged to the outside.

An apparatus and a method are provided for an air filter cleaning wand for flushing contaminants from an intake air filter of an automobile engine. The air filter cleaning wand comprises a proximal flange, a conduit, and a distal end portion. The proximal flange is configured to receive a nozzle of a water hose. An interior of the conduit is in fluid communication with the proximal flange. The distal end portion comprises a plurality of longitudinally aligned vents in fluid communication with the interior of the conduit. Upon passing water through the water hose and into the conduit, pressurized water streams exit the vents along the distal end portion so as to flush contaminants from the air filter. The air filter cleaning wand advantageously is comprised of a material which is sufficiently durable and temperature resistant to retain its configuration during operation when coupled to pressurized water sources.

Filter systems are provided comprising a filter element and a backflush device configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element. The filter element can comprise one or more elongate supporting portions for supporting a filtration means; and the backflush device can comprise an elongate outlet configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element such that the backflush fluid flow intersects the filter element along a line that is non-parallel with the one or more elongate supporting portions, wherein the elongate outlet comprises at least two separate outlets. A backflush device for a filter system is also provided.

Filter systems are provided comprising a filter element and a backflush device configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element. The filter element can comprise one or more elongate supporting portions for supporting a filtration means; and the backflush device can comprise an elongate outlet configured to provide a backflush fluid flow through the filter element such that the backflush fluid flow intersects the filter element along a line that is non-parallel with the one or more elongate supporting portions, wherein the elongate outlet comprises at least two separate outlets. A backflush device for a filter system is also provided.
