LAUNDRY TREATING MACHINE
A laundry treating machine is provided. The laundry treating machine may include a tub to receive wash water, a drum rotatably provided in the tub, an air supply device to supply air to the tub, a lint filter to filter lint from the air circulated by the air supply device, a filter cleaning device to supply cleaning water to the lint filter to remove the lint from the lint filter, and a cooling water supply device to supply cooling water to an inner surface of the tub such that moisture contained in air is condensed at the inner surface of the tub.
SELF-CLEANING FILTRATION SYSTEM WITH MINIMAL WASTE GENERATION FOR WATER PURIFICATION APPLICATIONS
A water filtration system is shown which uses a number of rigid tubular screen type filter elements having porous exterior and interior sidewalls. The interior sidewalls form an initially open interior axial bore. The filter elements are closed at a bottom end thereof and open at a top end thereof. An elongated spray bar is rotatably mounted for rapid rotation within the open interior axial bore of each of the tubular filter elements. The spray bar has a plurality of slots cut along the length thereof in a predetermined pattern and an internal bore which is in communication with a source of high-pressure air and high-pressure water. The application of high-pressure air or water provides a brief pressure pulse directed radially outward which causes the spray bar to rotate and spray air or water outwardly from the spay bar slots and through the interior sidewall of the porous filter elements to dislodge any collected filter cake from the exterior wall surfaces in use.
Non-discharge backwash filter system
A backwash filtration system comprising a backwash discharge port, a sedimentation collection and separation system, and a final filtration chamber. The backwash discharge port is coupled with a pool filter system and is configured to pass backwashed water from the pool filter system to the sedimentation collection and separation system. The sedimentation collection and separation system has a plurality of sedimentation chambers that are vertically stacked and a plurality of baffles configured to reduce the migration of sediment within the sedimentation chambers. A path for water flow passes down sequentially through each of the sedimentation chambers. The final filtration chamber receives the backwashed water from the sedimentation collection and separation system, filters the backwashed water through a final filtration medium, and passes the filtered water to a water return line of the pool filter system or to a pool of water.
