A filter for hydraulic fluids including a container defining inside a housing compartment fluidically communicating with an inlet and an outlet associated with and a filtering cartridge, and partitioning the compartment in first and second chambers. The cartridge is configured and positioned for determining the filtering of the hydraulic fluid from the inlet which flows from the first to the second chambers. The container exhibits an engagement portion projecting inside the housing compartment and defining a collar having an outer coupling lateral surface, while the filtering cartridge exhibits a respective engagement portion defining a respective collar exhibiting an inner coupling lateral surface configured for engaging outside the outer coupling surface of the container. The coupling surface of the engagement portion of the container exhibits a polygonal cross-section; the inner coupling surface of the engagement portion of the cartridge is at least partially countershaped to the coupling surface of the container.

Water filter system

A filter unit includes a body portion and an engagement protrusion that extends from the body portion with a first water containment seal. At least one cross-section of the engagement protrusion at a location of the first water containment seal, taken perpendicular to a central longitudinal axis of the body portion, includes an egg-shaped outer perimeter with a single axis of symmetry. At least one engagement surface traverses around at least part of the body portion. The at least one engagement surface has a linear movement section for linear movement of the body portion. The linear movement section transitions to a rotational movement section for rotational movement of the body portion. The rotational movement section is angled relative to the linear movement section. A water inlet path and a water outlet path extend through a portion of the engagement protrusion defined by the at least one cross-section.

A water filter unit includes a body portion, a first engagement surface that traverses at least part of the body portion, and a second engagement surface that traverses at least part of the body portion opposite the first engagement surface. An engagement protrusion extends from the body portion and has a water inlet and a water outlet. A curved engagement surface is disposed on the engagement protrusion proximate the water outlet. A first seal is disposed on the engagement protrusion. A first cross-section of the engagement protrusion, taken at the first seal and perpendicular to a longitudinal extent of the body portion, has only one axis of symmetry. A second seal is disposed on the engagement protrusion and is spaced apart from the first seal. The water inlet is positioned between the first and second seals.

Water filter system

A water filter system includes a removable filter unit having a body portion including a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is adapted to be inserted into a filter head assembly. A laterally extending key member is disposed on the body portion and adapted to engage a key slot in the filter head assembly. An engagement protrusion extends from the proximal end. The engagement protrusion includes a first portion that has a first radius of curvature and a second portion opposing the first portion that includes a second radius of curvature that is larger than the first radius of curvature.

A FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR SEPARATING LIQUID FROM COMPRESSED GAS AND COMPRESSOR COMPRISING SUCH FILTER ASSEMBLY

A filter assembly including a housing (15) and a filter cartridge (10). The housing has a housing inlet (16) and a housing outlet (17). The filter cartridge (10) has a filter inlet (11) fluidly connected to the housing inlet (16) and a filter element (12) between a top cap (18) and a bottom cap (19). The top cap (18) and the bottom cap (19) create a circular guiding system. The bottom cap (19) has a first part (19a) that receives the filter element (12) and a second part (19b) that is connected with a mating surface (20) of the housing. The second part has a first circular section (21a) and a second section (21b) and the first section has another shape than the second section (21b), such that the bottom cap (19) cannot rotate in relation to the mating surface.
