Liquid Filter for Separating Water and/or Particle Filtration of a Fuel and/or Aqueous Solution, in Particular a Urea Solution, and/or Water
A liquid filter for water separation and/or particle filtration of a fuel and/or aqueous solution, in particular a urea solution, and/or water, in particular in a motor vehicle, is described. The liquid filter has at least one filter and/or coalescer medium that is made of a non-woven fabric that has fibers and/or threads having elementary silver.
Filter element locking mechanism
A method of assembling a canister filter system includes inserting a first filter component into a second filter component, and continuing the insertion until a first tab of either the first filter component or the second filter component contacts the other of the first filter component and the second filter component.
QUICK OIL CHANGE FILTER AND ASSEMBLY
A filtration system includes a filter housing having a cavity and a base, a drain defined in the base, a channel defined in the base and in fluid communication with the drain, and a filter cartridge having a longitudinal axis and being movable between an installed position within the cavity of the filter housing and an uninstalled position outside the cavity of the filter housing. The channel defines an outer diameter. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate defining an outer diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the channel so that, in the installed position, the bottom endplate covers the channel and prevents fluid flow from the cavity to the drain, and a filter media extending axially outwardly from the bottom endplate.
WET DRY APPLIANCE
A cleaning device and methods for cleaning are provided. In one embodiment, the cleaning device includes a head assembly, a body assembly, and a handle assembly. The cleaning device also includes components that enable the cleaning device to operate in dry cleaning modes and wet cleaning modes. Dry cleaning modes can employ a vacuum assembly, including a motor, tubing, and a fluid recovery tank in order to draw in debris and waste into a fluid recovery tank. Wet cleaning modes can further employ a fluid supply tank, a pump, and tubing in order to supply fluid to a brushroll to aid in a cleaning process.
Liquid filtering system
A filtering system (10) includes a filtering apparatus having a filter unit for receiving liquid to be filtered, a receptacle for receiving filtered liquid, and an adapter (14) for coupling the filter unit to the receptacle, and also includes a base (12) having a cradle (26) for receiving the filtering apparatus and a base vacuum delivery port (28). The adapter includes an adapter vacuum receiving port (22) coupled to the vacuum delivery port for driving the liquid through the filter and—as filtered liquid—into the receptacle. The cradle and the adapter have an interlocking mechanism (52, 54) that locks the filtering apparatus to the cradle in a locking position in which the vacuum receiving port is sealingly coupled to the base vacuum delivery port. The base vacuum delivery port has a vacuum valve (30) constituted as a normally-closed valve automatically forced open when the filtering apparatus locks to the cradle.
Magnetic rod guide for a filter
A magnetic rod guide for a filter is provided that includes a base for attachment to part of a filter, a through aperture through which a magnetic rod can move, and resilient engagement means. The resilient engagement means includes one or more resilient latches for holding the magnetic rod in one or more fixed positions relative to the guide. Each resilient latch is adapted to allow movement of the magnetic rod through the through aperture in either direction, for insertion into the filter or withdrawal from the filter into one of the fixed positions.
Filter element having intermittent coupling with housing cover
A filter assembly has a threaded cover that mates with a complementary thread on the filter housing. Rotation of the housing cover in a first direction moves the cover axially away from the housing, and rotation of the housing cover in a second direction opposite the first direction moves the cover axially toward the housing. An intermittent coupling between a filter housing cover and a filter element applies intermittent axial forces to the filter element as the housing cover is rotated in the first direction to separate the filter element from the housing along with the cover. The intermittent coupling includes components on the inside of the filter cover that engage with complementary components on the filter element during each revolution of the cover.
PUSH FILTER WITH FLOATING KEY LOCK
A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the printed circuit board.
Refrigeration Appliance And Filter Cartridge For Same
A filter cartridge for a domestic cooling appliance includes a beaker-shaped housing which is provided at an open end with a coupling for securing to a filter head, and a particle filter insert which is received in the housing. The particle filter insert is guided movably along an axis of the housing between an abutment position, in which it is embedded completely in the housing, and a position in which it at least partially protrudes from the housing. A domestic refrigeration appliance having the filter cartridge is also provided.
CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING A FILTER HOUSING TO A FILTER HOUSING RETAINING STRUCTURE, CLEANING SYSTEM, FILTER HOUSING COVER FOR A FILTER HOUSING AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING A FILTER HOUSING COVER TO A FILTER HOUSING RETAINING STRUCTURE
A connecting structure connects a filter housing to a filter housing retaining structure. The connecting structure conducts a liquid that is to be cleaned to the filter housing and discharges a purified liquid. The connecting structure includes a filter housing cover that connects to the filter housing and that receives a filter medium. The filter housing cover has attachment elements that connect to corresponding attachment elements of the filter housing retaining structure to establish an exchange of fluids between the filter housing retaining structure and the filter housing. Filter housing cover guides are on opposing sides of the filter housing cover; and guides on the filter housing retaining structure engage the filter housing cover guides when connecting the attachment elements of the filter housing cover with the attachment elements of the filter housing retaining structure to support and linearly guide the filter housing cover during the connection process.
