COMPUTER SIMULATION METHOD WITH USER-DEFINED TRANSPORTATION AND LAYOUT
In one implementation, a method comprises: obtaining a first input from a user of a client device associated with creating a personal transportation center within a virtual environment; in response to obtaining the first input, instantiating the personal transportation center within the virtual environment; in response to obtaining a second user input from the user of the client device, instantiating a first portal within the personal transportation center, wherein the first portal corresponds to a first destination environment within the virtual environment specified by the user; and in response to obtaining a third user input from the user of the client device, instantiating a second portal different from the first portal within the personal transportation center, wherein the second portal corresponds to a second destination environment different from the first destination environment within the virtual environment specified by the user.
PROJECTION OF INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT
An interactive environment image may be projected onto one or more surfaces, and interaction with the projected environment image may be detected within a three-dimensional space over the one or more surfaces. The interactive environment image may be a three dimensional image, or it may be two dimensional. An image is projected onto a surface to provide a visual representation of a virtual space including one or more of the virtual objects, which may be spatially positioned. User interaction with the projected visualized representation of the virtual space may be detected and, in response to user interaction, the projected visualized representation may be changed.

Methods of playing video games
Video game systems for executing instructions according to a video game contained on an item of first media including: an item of second media containing data defining an aspect of the video game; and a video game console including a housing, a first media device supported by the housing, a second media device supported by the housing, and a control unit supported by the housing and configured to control the first media device to read the item of first media and to control the second media device to read the item of second media.
Apparatus and method for displaying player character showing special movement state in network game
In a network game, player characters manipulated by individual players of video game apparatuses belong to the same party to battle with an opponent character. When a player character making a special move is not present in the party, the display screen of each video game apparatus becomes a screen focusing on the player character of the player who uses this video game apparatus. When one of the player characters makes a special move, not only the display screen of the video game apparatus corresponding to this player, but also the display screens of the video game apparatuses corresponding to the other player characters in the party become screens focusing on the player character which makes the special move.
Virtual instrument playing scheme
Technologies are generally described for a virtual instrument playing system. In some examples, a virtual instrument playing system may include a sensor data receiving unit configured to receive first sensor data of a first user and second sensor data of the first user, a sound event prediction unit configured to detect a sound event of the first user and to predict a sound generation timing corresponding to the sound event of the first user based at least in part on the first sensor data of the first user, an instrument identification unit configured to identify a virtual instrument corresponding to the sound event from one or more virtual instruments based at least in part on the second sensor data of the first user, a sound data generation unit configured to generate sound data of the first user regarding the identified virtual instrument based at least in part on the sound generation timing, and a video data generation unit configured to generate video data of the first user regarding the identified virtual instrument based at least in part on the second sensor data of the first user.

GAME SYSTEM
A game system comprising a data processing system and an identification toy element that includes information associated with the identification toy element; wherein the identification toy element is a toy construction element comprising one or more connectors configured for mechanically connecting one or more other toy construction elements to the identification toy element so as to allow a user to construct a toy construction model; and wherein the data processing system is configured to: detect a presence of the identification toy element in a detection area; create an association between a virtual object in a virtual environment and the detected identification toy element; access, when the identification toy element is again placed within a detection area, the information associated with the identification toy element; obtain, based on the accessed information, information about the virtual object associated with the identification toy element; present a representation of the associated virtual object; and to perform a play pattern procedure including controlling the representation of the virtual object.

Multi-party location-based VR shared space usage optimization
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for providing XR experiences to multiple users. A plurality of XR devices might participate in a group XR experience. Physical environment data may be determined for each XR device. Virtual play areas for each of the XR devices may be determined. The different virtual play areas may be fit into different areas of a predefined virtual play area, and/or may be combined to form a combined virtual play area. Each XR device might be provided a different portion of the virtual play area. The XR devices may be sent different virtual map positioning data to provide the group XR experience.
