Multi-party location-based VR shared space usage optimization
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for providing XR experiences to multiple users. A plurality of XR devices might participate in a group XR experience. Physical environment data may be determined for each XR device. Virtual play areas for each of the XR devices may be determined. The different virtual play areas may be fit into different areas of a predefined virtual play area, and/or may be combined to form a combined virtual play area. Each XR device might be provided a different portion of the virtual play area. The XR devices may be sent different virtual map positioning data to provide the group XR experience.
Controlling objects in a virtual environment
Methods, systems, and computer-storage media having computer-usable instructions embodied thereon, for controlling objects in a virtual environment are provided. Real-world objects may be received into a virtual environment. The real-world objects may be any non-human object. An object skeleton may be identified and mapped to the object. A user skeleton of the real-world user may also be identified and mapped to the object skeleton. By mapping the user skeleton to the object skeleton, movements of the user control the movements of the object in the virtual environment.

Methods, systems, and computer-storage media having computer-usable instructions embodied thereon, for controlling objects in a virtual environment are provided. Real-world objects may be received into a virtual environment. The real-world objects may be any non-human object. An object skeleton may be identified and mapped to the object. A user skeleton of the real-world user may also be identified and mapped to the object skeleton. By mapping the user skeleton to the object skeleton, movements of the user control the movements of the object in the virtual environment.

A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computing device having a controller to obtain a user input that was inputted into a first accessory operably coupled with the computing device where the first accessory provides a user interface for user interaction with a video game, determine a language of an intended recipient of the user input based on an identity of the intended recipient, access a multi-lingual library comprising a plurality of words associated with the video game, match the user input to one or more words of the plurality of words of the multi-lingual library to generate a translated message in the determined language of the intended recipient, and provide the translated message to a second accessory for presentation to the intended recipient in real-time. A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a computing device having a controller to obtain a user input that was inputted into a first accessory operably coupled with the computing device where the first accessory provides a user interface for user interaction with a video game, determine a language of an intended recipient of the user input based on an identity of the intended recipient, access a multi-lingual library comprising a plurality of words associated with the video game, match the user input to one or more words of the plurality of words of the multi-lingual library to generate a translated message in the determined language of the intended recipient, and provide the translated message to a second accessory for presentation to the intended recipient in real-time. An invention that provides discovery and transfer of assets in a virtual universe is provided. In one embodiment, there is an asset transfer utility, including an inventory component configured to display to a user within a virtual universe an inventory containing a plurality of assets owned by other users within the virtual universe, each of the plurality of assets listed anonymously. A search component is configured to search the inventory containing the plurality of assets. A selection component is configured to select a set of assets from the plurality of assets based on the search. A transfer component is configured to transfer the set of assets between the user and an owner of each of the set of assets.

Rendering processing of a screen to be displayed is divided and performed between a first device and a second device. The second device generates a second screen on which rendering objects, excepting the some rendering objects from the rendering objects to be rendered on the screen to be displayed, are rendered.
