A pleated air filter media is provided. The pleated air filter media comprises a plurality of upstream linear bridging filaments that are extrusion-bonded to at least some of a plurality of upstream pleat tips of a fibrous web, and a plurality of downstream continuous-contact filaments that are extrusion-bonded to a downstream face of the fibrous web. Methods of making and using the same are also provided.
POLYAMIDE NANOFIBER NONWOVENS
A nanofiber nonwoven product is disclosed which comprises a polyamide with a relative viscosity from 2 to 330, spun into nanofibers with an average diameter of less than 1000 nanometers (1 micron). In general, the inventive products are prepared by: (a) providing a polyamide composition, wherein the polyamide has a relative viscosity from 2 to 330; (b) melt spinning the polyamide composition into a plurality of nanofibers having an average fiber diameter of less than 1 micron, followed by (c) forming the nanofibers into the product.
MELT-BLOWN NONWOVEN FABRIC AND FILTER
Provided is a melt-blown nonwoven fabric including a propylenic polymer that shows at least one peak top at a position of a molecular weight of 20,000 or higher and at least one peak top at a position of a molecular weight of less than 20,000 in a discharge curve obtained by gel permeation chromatography, and has an intrinsic viscosity [] of from 0.50 (dl/g) to 0.75 (dl/g).

Filter
The present invention provides a filter which, even when raw water is subjected to high-speed treatment, enables achieving a high solute rejection ratio and a long solute filtration life and which exhibits a low water flow resistance. The present invention pertains to a filter obtained by laminating woven fabrics or knitted fabrics, the filter being characterized in that: said woven fabrics or knitted fabrics comprise a fiber capable of adsorbing components dissolved in liquid: said fiber has a diameter of 100-600 m; the woven fabrics or knitted fabrics have a porosity of 15-70%; and variation in area porosity in the thickness direction of the laminate is 15% or less.
DRAINAGE MEDIUM FOR GAS FILTER
A coalescence filter including an inlet for supplying the gas to a filter element present in the coalescing filter, which filter element includes a coalescence medium for coalescing at least one disperse liquid phase during a displacement of a gas through the coalescence medium in a flow direction. The filter element downstream of the coalescence medium includes a drainage medium for draining the at least one coalesced disperse phase leaving the coalescence medium. The filter element contains a barrier layer positioned downstream of the coalescence medium, where the coalescence medium and the barrier layer are held at a distance from each other by one or more spacers to provide a drainage zone in the drainage layer of a drainage medium between a surface of the coalescence medium facing the barrier layer and the barrier layer for draining the coalesced disperse phase in a drainage direction.
BAG-SHAPED FILTER
The present invention provides a bag-shaped filter in which the durability is higher than that of a bag-shaped filter of the related art without an increase in costs such that the replacement frequency can be lowered.
Further, the present invention provides a bag-shaped filter in which smaller solids can be captured compared to a bag-shaped filter of the related art such that high filtration performance and durability can be achieved simultaneously.
A bag-shaped filter used to filter waste liquid including solid components, wherein the filter is a bag-shaped circular knitted fabric a part or the whole of which is obtained using a fiber material at least a part of which is an elastic yarn, and a portion formed by at least doubly knitting a knitted fabric is provided in a bag-shaped bottom portion.
