Techniques including data collection, organization and usage are provided, including in connection with computer-based gaming. Methods and systems are provided for establishing a set of data chronicling at least a portion of a duration of a computer-based gaming event that includes at least one user engaging in gaming using a computer or a computer-based device. Event data is obtained for chronicling chronologically ordered in-game events. Hardware and software related data is obtained that relates to the computer or the computer-based device and is relevant to the chronicling of the portion of the gaming event. Utilizing a distributed ledger technology or blockchain, the event data and the hardware and software related data are recorded in establishing the set of data chronicling at least a portion of the duration of the gaming event.

INFRASTRUCTURE TO INTEGRATE AN INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT (IDE) WITH GAME ENGINES

Techniques are described herein that are capable of integrating an IDE with game engines. States of the game engines are identified. Each state indicates whether the IDE enables a game developer to interact with the respective game engine and/or game(s) created by the respective game engine. A subset of the game engines is caused to be displayed to the game developer based at least in part on the IDE enabling the game developer to interact with each game engine in the subset and/or game(s) created by the respective game engine. A selection indicator, which indicates that a game engine is selected from the game engines in the subset, is received. An integration infrastructure, including a game engine-agnostic messaging protocol and game engine-agnostic messages, is provided. At least a portion of game code and/or test unit(s) are run and/or debugged using the IDE in a context of the selected game engine.

Many times, users play games to certain places in the game and decide to save the game and resume it later. When users resume the game, they have to wait for it to load, wade through menus to select the saved game, and wait again for the game to resume. The introduced technique directly suspends and resume games that are rendered on a cloud server based on user initiated suspend and resume control commands. As the games are directly suspended and resumed, the users can skip past menu and screen loading. The introduced technique can track game information of multiples users in cloud tokens, and can move these cloud tokens from one memory location to another based on the user initiated suspend and resume control commands.
