Absorbent liquid for CO.SUB.2 .and/or H.SUB.2.S, and apparatus and method using same
An absorbent liquid which absorbs at least one of CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2S from a gas, including a secondary linear monoamine; a tertiary linear monoamine or a sterically hindered primary monoamine; and a secondary cyclic diamine, wherein a concentration of each of the secondary linear monoamine, the tertiary linear monoamine or the sterically hindered primary monoamine; and the secondary cyclic diamine is less than 30% by weight.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION ANHYDROUS CO2 PHASE CHANGE ABSORPTION AGENT, AND REGENERATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Disclosed in the present disclosure are a low energy consumption anhydrous CO.sub.2 phase change absorption agent, and a regeneration method and an application thereof, the absorption agent using a unitary diamine with a primary amine (NH.sub.2) and a tertiary amine (N), and not containing any other organic solvent, water, and ionic liquid; two alkyl branches are linked to a nitrogen atom of the tertiary amine, forming a certain hydrophobicity; after absorbing the CO.sub.2, the diamine changes from a liquid phase to a solid phase, undergoing liquid-solid phase change to form white amino formate crystals.
Acidic gas absorbent, acidic gas removal method and acidic gas removal apparatus
The embodiments provide an acidic gas absorbent, an acidic gas removal method, and an acidic gas removal apparatus. The absorbent absorbs an acidic gas in a large amount and hardly diffuses in air. The acidic gas absorbent according to the embodiment comprises an amine compound having a sulfonyl group and two or more amino groups.
Carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus and method of controlling operation of carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus
A carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus includes an absorption tower configured to cause an absorbing liquid to absorb a carbon dioxide gas contained in a process gas and a regeneration tower configured to cause the absorbing liquid from the absorption tower to release the carbon dioxide gas. The carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus further includes an inlet concentration meter configured to measure concentration of an acid component in the process gas supplied to the absorption tower and an outlet concentration meter configured to measure concentration of the acid component in the process gas discharged from the absorption tower. Also included in the carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus are a supplementary absorbing liquid supply mechanism configured to supply a supplementary absorbing liquid to the main unit and a controller configured to control an amount of the supplementary absorbing liquid supplied to the main unit by the supplementary absorbing liquid supply mechanism based on the concentrations of the acid component measured at the inlet concentration meter and the outlet concentration meter.
THERMAL STAGE AND REDUCTION ABSORPTION SULFUR RECOVERY PROCESS
An elemental sulfur recovery unit comprising a thermal unit configured to combust an acid gas feed comprising hydrogen sulfide, an oxygen source, and a fuel gas to create a reaction furnace outlet stream, comprising elemental sulfur, a waste heat boiler configured to capture heat from the reaction furnace outlet stream to create a waste heat boiler effluent, a condenser configured to condense the waste heat boiler effluent to produce a non-condensed gases stream and a condensed stream comprising elemental sulfur, a process gas reheater configured to generate a hot gases stream, a hydrogenation reactor configured to convert the hot gases stream to create a hydrogenation effluent comprising hydrogen sulfide, a process desuperheater configured to cool the hydrogenation effluent to generate a cooled effluent, and an absorber unit configured to absorb the hydrogen sulfide from the cooled effluent to produce a hydrogen sulfide recycle stream and a waste gas stream.
Energy-efficient extraction of acid gas from flue gases
An energy-efficient method of removing carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and other acid gases from a stream of flue gases. The flue stream is contacted with a predetermined sorbent system to remove acid gases from the flue stream. The acid gas-rich sorbent is then heated to desorb the acid gas for capture and regenerate the sorbent. Heat exchangers and heat pumps are used to reduce utility steam and/or cooling water consumption.
Method for Scavenging Airborne Formaldehyde
A method for scavenging airborne formaldehyde comprising a step of contacting the airborne formaldehyde with an amine compound or a salt thereof.
TWO STEP AMINE ABSORPTION PROCESS FOR REMOVAL CO2/H2S FROM BIOGAS
The present invention relates to a method for upgrading biogas, i.e. a method for removing carbon dioxide and/or hydrogen sulphide from biogas. Particularly the invention relates to a method for upgrading biogas by absorption in two absorbers, where the gas effluent of the first absorber is pressurized and fed to the absorber of the second absorption step and wherein the liquid effluents of the two absorbers are regenerated to form a regenerated absorption stream, which is then provided in two absorption streams which is fed to the absorber of the first and second absorption steps respectively. It also relates to a system for performing the method.
