Reclaiming method
A reclaiming method is disclosed including conducting evaporation by introducing a part of the absorbent to recover CO.sub.2 or H.sub.2S in a gas in a closed system recovery unit and separating a degraded substance contained in the absorbent from the absorbent to be introduced into an evaporator and obtain recovery steam containing an absorbent and CO.sub.2 or H.sub.2S by a heating section that is provided on a circulation line that circulates in the evaporator; and removing ionic degraded substance by cooling the concentrate obtained in the evaporation and removing an ionic degraded substance in the concentrate after the cooling, wherein a purified concentrate from which the ionic degraded substance has been removed is reused as a purified absorbent.
IMPROVED CONTAMINANT REMOVAL PROCESS
Disclosed is a process comprising: step a) contacting a feed stream comprising a contaminant with an absorbent stream in a counter-current flow to produce a contaminant depleted product stream depleted in the molar quantity of the contaminant relative to the molar quantity of said contaminant in the feed stream, and a contaminant enriched absorbent stream enriched in the molar quantity of the contaminant relative to the molar quantity of said contaminant in the absorbent stream; and step b) treating the contaminant enriched absorbent stream to form a gaseous stream comprising said contaminant and a regenerated absorbent stream lean in the molar quantity of said contaminant relative to the molar quantity of said contaminant in the contaminant enriched absorbent stream; herein said absorbent stream comprises at least 15 wt. % of at least one compound (A) of general formula (I) or a mixture (M) comprising at least one compound (B) of general formula (II) and at least one compound (C) of general formula (III).
Acidic gas recovery system and reclaiming device to be used in same
A reclaiming device that separates an absorption liquid from a coexisting material other than an absorbent includes: a gas-liquid separator that accepts the absorption liquid to be reclaimed together with water and separates the absorption liquid into a non-volatile material and a vaporized material; a first discharged liquid line that introduces a first discharged liquid discharged from the gas-liquid separator into the gas-liquid separator at a position below an absorption liquid introduction port; a first heater, disposed on the first discharged liquid line, that heats the first discharged liquid; a second discharged liquid line that introduces a second discharged liquid discharged from the gas-liquid separator into the gas-liquid separator at a position below a first discharged liquid introduction port; and a mixing tank, disposed on the second discharged liquid line, that mixes the second discharged liquid with an alkaline agent.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL INTENSIFIED REACTOR DEVICE WITH INTEGRATED HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER
A packing device for mass and heat transfer with a subject fluid includes a housing having opposing ends, and subject fluid openings at each opposing end defining a subject fluid flow path for at least one subject fluid flowing through the packing device. A plurality of mass and heat transfer plates each include an interior heat exchange fluid channel disposed between interior heat transfer surfaces of the mass and heat transfer plates. A heat exchange fluid inlet and fluid outlet can supply and remove heat exchange fluid to the heat exchange fluid channels of the mass and heat transfer plates. The mass and heat transfer plates can be oriented to define there between fluid flow channels for the subject fluid. A method and system for mass and heat transfer with a subject fluid, and a method and system for the removal of CO.sub.2 from a gas stream are disclosed.
ABSORBENT LIQUID FOR CO2 AND/OR H2S, AND APPARATUS AND METHOD USING SAME
An absorbent liquid which absorbs at least one of CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2S from a gas, including a secondary linear monoamine; a tertiary linear monoamine or a sterically hindered primary monoamine; and a secondary cyclic diamine, wherein a concentration of each of the secondary linear monoamine, the tertiary linear monoamine or the sterically hindered primary monoamine; and the secondary cyclic diamine is less than 30% by weight.
GAS TREATMENT METHOD AND GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS
A gas treatment method includes an absorption step in which a gas to be treated containing an acidic compound, such as carbon dioxide, is brought into contact, in an absorber, with a treatment liquid that absorbs the acidic compound; and a regeneration step in which the treatment liquid, having the acidic compound absorbed therein, is sent to a regenerator, and the treatment liquid is then heated to separate the acidic compound from the treatment liquid. In the regeneration step, a gas almost insoluble to the treatment liquid, such as hydrogen gas, is brought into contact with the treatment liquid.
PROCESS FOR AFTERTREATMENT OF REGENERATION OFFGAS
The invention relates to a process for aftertreatment of gas streams in which unwanted components are present in an amount that varies irregularly in a periodic manner or over time and/or in a varying concentration, by means of an absorption or gas scrubbing process. For this purpose, during the entry of the desorption peak into the gas scrubbing apparatus, the amount of scrubbing medium is increased proceeding from a normal value during a first phase and, after the end of the desorption peak, the amount of scrubbing medium is returned back to the normal value during a second phase, wherein the laden scrubbing media are collected in different intermediate vessels during the two phases, mixed and released as a mixture to a downstream scrubbing medium regeneration apparatus.
Acid gas removal apparatus and acid gas removal method
An acid gas removal apparatus includes a reclaimer control device that performs: first supply water control in which at least one of reflux water, steam condensate, and desalinated water is supplied to a reclaimer as first supply water, at non-volatile component removal reclaiming; second supply water control in which at least one of the reflux water, the steam condensate, and the desalinated water is supplied to the reclaimer, and a washing liquid including an acid gas absorbing liquid is supplied to the reclaimer as second supply water, at an initial stage of finish reclaiming; and third supply water control in which supply of the second supply water is stopped and at least one of the reflux water, the steam condensate, and the desalinated water is supplied as the first supply water, at a later stage of the finish reclaiming.
