The invention includes a gas processing system for transforming a hydrocarbon-containing inflow gas into outflow gas products, where the system includes a gas delivery subsystem, a plasma reaction chamber, and a microwave subsystem, with the gas delivery subsystem in fluid communication with the plasma reaction chamber, so that the gas delivery subsystem directs the hydrocarbon-containing inflow gas into the plasma reaction chamber, and the microwave subsystem directs microwave energy into the plasma reaction chamber to energize the hydrocarbon-containing inflow gas, thereby forming a plasma in the plasma reaction chamber, which plasma effects the transformation of a hydrocarbon in the hydrocarbon-containing inflow gas into the outflow gas products, which comprise acetylene and hydrogen. The invention also includes methods for the use of this gas processing system.

EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT FACILITY

An exhaust gas treatment facility includes: a combustion chamber for combustion-treating an exhaust gas; a nozzle for letting water flow along an inner wall surface of the combustion chamber; a water-feeding line for supplying water to the nozzle; a primary gas-cleaning chamber; a scrubber; and the like. The water-feeding line has a pipe, a pump, and pipes. An alkali-adding apparatus is provided on the pipe on an upstream side of the pump. The alkali-adding apparatus is controlled so as to regulate a detected pH by a pH meter to be 10 or higher.

Water extracting device

A device for extracting water vapour from a fluid stream includes a carrier structure, a substrate of fibrous material provided on the carrier structure, the fibrous material including a plurality of individual fibres, a quantity of an LCST polymer coating the individual fibres; and a heating provision arranged to selectively heat the LCST polymer to above its lower critical temperature whereby water absorbed by the fibres can be subsequently released on heating. By providing the LCST polymer as a coating onto the fibres, an increased surface area may be achieved.

The composite amine absorbing solution according to the present invention absorbs CO.sub.2 or H.sub.2S or both in a gas, and is obtained by dissolving a linear monoamine, a diamine, and an amide group-containing compound in water. By adopting this composite amine absorbing solution, the composites are interacting in a composite manner, due to an integrated effect of the components, the absorption property of CO.sub.2 or H.sub.2S or both is favorable, the desorption properties of the CO.sub.2 or H.sub.2S absorbed when regenerating the absorbing solution become favorable, and the amount of steam from a reboiler used when regenerating the absorbing solution in a CO.sub.2 recovery device can be reduced.
