Packaging materials
The use of a palladium-doped zeolite for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds is described wherein the zeolite has a CHA framework type and is polymer-bound. Such zeolites have been found to have particular utility as packaging materials for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds, such as those originating from organic matter.
Adsorbent system
An adsorbent system including a body having or defining a channel therein, wherein the body is configured to be coupled to a humidity-controlled environment such that a first end of the channel is in selective fluid communication with the ambient environment and such that a second end of the channel is in fluid communication with said humidity-controlled environment. The system further includes an adsorbent material in the channel, wherein the channel and adsorbent material are configured such that inlet fluid flowing from the first end to the second end through the channel is flowable over the adsorbent material, and such that outlet fluid flowing from the second end to the first end is flowable over a majority of the adsorbent material that is flowable over by the inlet fluid. The system also includes a valve system positioned at or adjacent to or in fluid communication with the first end of the channel.
Display device of vehicle on which CO.SUB.2 .recovery device is mounted
A display device of a vehicle on which a CO.sub.2 recovery device is mounted, the CO.sub.2 recovery device through which gas circulates recovering carbon dioxide from the gas, the display device includes: a controller configured to control the vehicle, the controller including a recovery state determination unit configured to determine a recovery amount or a recovery state of the carbon dioxide recovered by the CO.sub.2 recovery device and an image data creation unit configured to create image data corresponding to the recovery amount or the recovery state detected by the recovery state determination unit; and a display screen configured to receive the image data and display an image corresponding to the image data, wherein the image data and the image vary depending on the recovery amount or the recovery state.
Scavenged pre-chamber using oxygen generated by a molecular sieve process
A method includes providing an internal combustion engine having a combustion chamber, a piston movably disposed in the combustion chamber, and a prechamber connected to the combustion chamber via a flow port. The method further includes forcing a gas mixture from the combustion chamber through a zeolite material to the prechamber using a compression stroke of the piston, where the zeolite material filters the gas mixture to provide an oxygen rich gas into the prechamber.
GAS-PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Described are gas-processing systems that include a pre-heater, that are useful for processing a flow of gas flowing the gas to contact media (e.g., purification media, catalyst, adsorbent), and related methods.
HIGH-CAPACITY DESICCANT BREATHER
A breather is disclosed. The breather may have a breather housing, a desiccant material, and a moisture indicator. The breather housing may be configured to receive at least an air flow containing moisture. The desiccant material may be contained within the breather housing, and the desiccant material may be enclosed by a breather wall. The moisture indicator may be located within the breather housing, and the moisture indicator may be positioned between the desiccant material and an internal side of the breather wall. The moisture indicator may provide a visible representation of an amount of moisture adsorbed by the desiccant breather. The visible representation of the moisture indicator may be visually observable through the breather wall. The desiccant material may be configured to adsorb up to about forty percent (40%) of the desiccant material's weight in moisture.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR HEAVY HYDROCARBON REMOVAL
Disclosed herein are processes and systems for removing heavy C5+ hydrocarbon components from a natural gas feed gas by subjecting the natural gas feed gas stream to an adsorber. The adsorber in the processes and systems described herein operating at a pressure that may be associated with improved adsorption capacity and longer breakthrough time.
METHOD OF PURIFYING HYDROGEN SUPPLIED FROM A STORAGE CAVERN
The present invention is directed to a method and system of purifying hydrogen supplied from a storage cavern, particularly to removing methane and other hydrocarbons from the hydrogen withdrawn from the cavern by using selective adsorption. The adsorbed impurities can be removed from the adsorbent by increasing the temperature, reducing the pressure, or a combination of both.
BINDERLESS ADSORBENT FOR SEPARATION OF A GASEOUS STREAM
A binderless zeolite adsorbent for separation of oxygen from a gaseous stream. The adsorbent is a blend of a lithium exchanged zeolite 13X, a lithium exchanged low silica zeolite X zeolite, and halloysite clay. Also disclosed is a process of making the binderless zeolite adsorbent. Further disclosed is a process for production of oxygen from a gaseous stream utilizing the binderless zeolite adsorbent.
Fluid sensor system and method for analysing fluid
A sensor system comprising a housing having an inlet aperture through which fluid enters the housing and a conditioning material in the housing, the conditioning material being adapted to control levels of a substance within the housing. The sensor system comprises a sensor for analysing the fluid in the housing. The sensor system comprises circulation means which is configured to alternate circulation of fluid within the housing between a sensing fluid path in which the fluid is analysed by the sensor and a second fluid path in which the fluid flow is conditioned. A method for analysing fluid in a housing using a sensor is also provided.
