AMINE SWEETENING IN FLASH GAS
Certain implementations of amine sweetening of flash gas are described. Flash gas including acid gas is flowed from a flash drum through a column section connected to the flash drum. A lean amine stream is flowed through the column section. The lean amine stream is configured to treat the acid gas flowed from the flash drum through the column section. A quantity of the lean amine stream flowed through the column section is controlled based, in part, on a rate at which the flash gas including the acid gas is flowed from the flash drum through the column section and a concentration of the acid gas in the flash gas.
Method and device for producing negative oxygen ions, and method and device for purifying air
Provided are a method and device for producing negative oxygen ions, and a method and device for purifying air. Said method for producing negative oxygen ions comprises: respectively introducing air and water into an air-water reactor so that the introduced air and water reach a relative movement speed of not less than 20 m/s in said air-water reactor and react within said air-water reactor so as to produce negative oxygen ions; and separating the air containing the negative oxygen ions after the reaction from the water after the reaction, and releasing the air containing the negative oxygen ions after the reaction into a required space. Said method and device can produce a large number of negative oxygen ions and purified air with a high efficiency at a low cost, without producing any harmful substances such as ozone and oxynitrides, and are long-acting and free of maintenance.
Multifunctional air purifying device for removing indoor pollution by thermal decomposition
A multifunctional air purifying device for removing indoor pollution by a thermal decomposition method comprises an air treatment unit and an air collection heater. The air collection heater is provided with an infrared lamp tube and an ultraviolet lamp tube. An annular water tank is arranged on an inner side of the upper part of the air treatment unit. A filter screen runs through the annular water tank and is connected with an air cap, and a fan is provided at a joint between the filter screen and the air cap. The filter screen includes an early effect filter screen, a HEPA filter screen, an activated carbon filter screen and a cold catalyst filter arranged in that order from a bottom to a top. A humidifier connects the annular sink and a nozzle located at an exhaust port.
ULTRASOUND-ASSISTED SOLVENT EXTRACTION OF ANALYTES FROM POROUS MEMBRANE PACKED SOLID SAMPLES
A method for extracting an analyte from a solid sample is described. The sample is sealed in a porous membrane bag, which is sonicated in an organic solvent. An extract of the analyte forms in the bag and diffuses into the organic solvent. The organic solvent containing the extract may then be concentrated and analyzed for an analyte with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The method does not the use of a solid sorbent material, and does not require a step of centrifuging or filtering.
Exhaust gas-purifying composition
An exhaust gas purifying composition of the present invention contains zeolite that is BEA zeolite having an SiO.sub.2/Al.sub.2O.sub.3 molar ratio of greater than 25 and 600 or less and containing phosphorus. Furthermore, the exhaust gas purifying composition preferably contains zirconium in addition to phosphorus. Furthermore, the zeolite has an SiO.sub.2/Al.sub.2O.sub.3 molar ratio of from 30 to 150. The present invention provides an exhaust gas purifying composition having excellent HC adsorbability for exhaust gas purification in internal combustion engines such as gasoline engines.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOTOCATALYST AND PHOTOCATALYST FILTER FOR AIR CLEANING
Disclosed is a method for producing a photocatalyst for air cleaning. The present production method comprises the steps of: preparing titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2); attaching platinum to a surface of the titanium dioxide; and attaching fluoro to the platinum-attached surface of the titanium dioxide to obtain surface-modified titanium dioxide.
SOLVENT FOR USE IN AROMATIC EXTRACTION PROCESS
Oxidized disulfide oil (ODSO) compounds, derived from by-product disulfide oil (DSO) compounds produced as by-products from the generalized mercaptan oxidation (MEROX) in the practice of the process, are effective as aromatic extraction solvents. This use of ODSO compounds as an extraction solvent converts an otherwise DSO waste oil product into a valuable commodity that has utility in improving the extraction of aromatics from hydrocarbons derived from fossil fuels.
A FILTERING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING POLLUTED AIR IN INDOOR SPACES
The invention relates to a filtering apparatus and method for treating polluted indoor air, which can be operated by gas scrubbers, adsorbers, or through the use of a microbial biodegrading medium for polluting gases, wherein said apparatus allows the biofiltration method to be efficient and applicable in indoor spaces. The technical problem of the efficiency of the filter has to do with said filter being able to process the greatest amount of pollutants during a minimum residence time and with a filter bed volume that allows the application thereof in apparatus that have an adequate size for indoor spaces, such as spaces inside the household, i.e., allowing the reactor to operate at maximum capacity without having to increase the size thereof.
AIR FRESHENER COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to the field of air cleaning, and specifically discloses an air freshener composition. The air freshener composition comprises component A and component B, wherein a weight ratio of the component A to the component B is 1:0.5-3; the component A comprises, in parts by weight, 10-30 parts by weight of an active agent; 6-15 parts by weight of a carrier; 1-4 parts by weight of a pH regulator; and 0.01-0.2 part by weight of an antioxidant; the component B is a plant extract solution, wherein the plant extract solution comprises at least, in parts by weight: 5-30 parts by weight of an extract of a mixture of Populus nigra var. italica, grapefruit peels and eucalyptus leaves; 0.1-5 parts by weight of Sophora flavescens extract; 1-3 parts by weight of Aloe vera extract; 1-10 parts by weight of fresh orange peel extract; 0.5-3 parts by weight of Nandina domestica extract; 0.5-10 parts by weight of Eucalyptus robusta Smith extract; 1-8 parts by weight of Robinia pseudoacacia L. extract; 1-5 parts by weight of Chrysanthemum morifolium extract; and 0.1-2 parts by weight of artemisinin.
