METHOD AND SYSTEM TO CONTROL AND MAINTAIN PRODUCT QUALITY FOR AN OLEFIN MEMBRANE SEPARATION
A process and system to control the final product quality in a system for separating olefins and paraffins in a membrane system. A small finishing membrane stage is added to an existing membrane system that takes a slip stream from the product, purifies it to a very high concentration of propylene and blends it back into the product stream.
METHOD FOR RECOVERY OF PARAXYLENE WITH REDUCED CRYSTALLIZATION LOAD
A method for the recovery paraxylene with reduced crystallization. Paraxylene is recovered from a mixture of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons in a pressure swing adsorption zone and a crystallization zone. The invention provides for lower throughput through the crystallization zone, resulting in lower capital costs, reduced electricity in operating separation equipment, as well as reduced refrigeration duty.
Method of Recovering Paraxylene from a Mixture of Aromatic Hydrocarbons
A method for recovering paraxylene from a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons. The process uses a pressure swing adsorption zone followed by a paraxylene recovery zone. The invention provides for lower throughput through the paraxylene recovery zone, resulting in lower capital costs and operating costs.
HYDROCARBON REMOVAL SYSTEM
A hydrocarbon removal system according an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first area including a first hydrocarbon adsorption catalyst having a first pore size; and a second area including a second hydrocarbon adsorption catalyst having a second pore size, wherein the first pore size may be smaller than the second pore size, the first hydrocarbon adsorption catalyst may include CHA zeolite, and the second hydrocarbon adsorption catalyst may include ZSM-5 zeolite.
Filtering Product
In accordance with some embodiments herein, a filtering product is provided. The filtering product includes titanium dioxide (TiO.sub.2), cetrimonium bromide (CTAB) and ascorbic acid (C.sub.6H.sub.8O.sub.6). The filtering product may be used for filtering smoke of a water pipe. Alternatively and/or additionally, the filtering product may be used for filtering gas.
SYSTEM FOR REDUCING VOC AND NITROGEN OXIDE AND METHOD FOR REDUCING SAME
The present invention relates to a VOC reduction system and a VOC reduction method that applies pulse type thermal energy to a catalyst to activate the catalyst and oxidizes and removes the VOC.
METHOD FOR INTELLIGENTLY PREVENTING AND HANDLING INDOOR AIR POLLUTION
A method for intelligently preventing and handling indoor air pollution is adapted to be implemented in an indoor space and includes providing a cloud processing device to receive and intelligently compare an outdoor gas detection data, an indoor gas detection data, and device gas detection data with each other. Then, the cloud processing device remotely transmits a control signal to the communication relay station and further to an indoor gas exchange system, so that the indoor gas exchange system is capable of intelligently enabling the gas processing device and controlling the operation time of the gas processing device for exchanging a polluted gas in the indoor space with the outdoor gas. Moreover, the gas exchanger can perform purification for the polluted gas at the location of the gas exchanger, thereby allowing the polluted gas in the indoor space to be exchanged into a clean, safe, and breathable gas.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AIR FILTRATION AND THERAPEUTIC RELIEF
A system and related method for air filtration and therapeutic relief are provided. The system includes a base layer, a substrate and a plant medium layer, which can be live, preserved or dormant moss. In some instances, the system also includes one or more netting layers. The system can also include a watering system, or air circulation system, or both.
AIR FILTRATION STRUCTURE TO CONTAIN AND SUPPORT ACTIVATED CARBON WITHIN AN AIRSTREAM
A filter for removing gaseous components from a gas stream. The filter includes a frame with outer members and support members mounted thereto. The filter includes a prefilter layer disposed upstream in the frame and a reactive layer disposed in the frame downstream from the prefilter layer. The reactive layer includes particulate that removes gaseous components from the gas stream. A containment layer is disposed in the frame downstream from the reactive layer. The frame supports the layers from the airstream flowing through the filter. This configuration reduces the quantity of reactive material required and permits significant variability in the reactive materials used on the reactive layers because the different reactive layers have little to no effect on one another.
Highly stable Ni-M F6-NH2O/onpyrazine2(solvent)x metal organic frameworks and methods of use
Provided herein are metal organic frameworks comprising metal nodes and N-donor organic ligands. Methods for capturing chemical species from fluid compositions comprise contacting a metal organic framework characterized by the formula [M.sub.aM.sub.bF.sub.6-n(O/H.sub.2O).sub.w(Ligand).sub.x(solvent).sub.y].sub.z with a fluid composition and capturing one or more chemical species from the fluid composition.
