A liquid separator comprises a vessel with an inlet for a liquid/gas mixture. The vessel defines a space sealed at the top by means of a lid in which is situated an outlet to discharge treated gas. A shield is provided in the space extending around the outlet as of the lid, and a filter element provided within the shield. An outlet zone is defined between the shield and the filter element, wherein the outlet zone is in connection with the outlet. The shield comprises a bottom wall with at least one inlet opening and connection means for attaching the filter element onto the bottom wall. The connection means is configured such that the filter element, in a mounted condition, extends around the inlet opening as from the bottom wall, within a chamber defined by the shield, the lid and the bottom wall.

The filter element (10) may include at least one guide crosspiece (46, 48) which extends axially and radially outward on a peripheral exterior side (26), relative to the element axis (14), of the filter element (10). The filter element (10) has at least one seal (42) running peripherally relative to the element axis (14), the seal (42) having a seal line with at least one convexity (54) arranged peripherally between two corner regions of the filter element (10) and is separated by these corner regions.

The present disclosure relates to a filter housing having a bowl and a head. The bowl is configured to house a portion of a filter cartridge. The bowl has an annular groove disposed about a rim of the bowl. The head is configured to mate with the bowl. The head includes an inlet, outlet, and a pair of levers. The inlet is to receive a flow of fluid into the filter housing. The outlet is to release the flow of fluid from the filter housing. The pair of levers are to draw the bowl partially into the head. Each lever has a first arm configured to mate with the annular groove, a second arm having a bearing surface, and a pivot disposed between the first arm and the second arm. A force upon the bearing surface urges the bowl into the head to form a seal.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods operable to reduce catalyst fouling by removing solid particulates from a heated fluid stream upstream of a catalyst using one or more flue gas strainer apparatuses that may be cleaned or serviced without ceasing or disrupting heating or catalytic operations. The flue gas strainer apparatuses may include a housing having a front end and a back end, the housing comprising a receiving portion, an outer edge, an inner edge, and an inner bore extending from the front end to the back end of the housing along the inner edge. The inner bore is operable to allow a heated fluid stream to pass therethrough. The flue gas strainer apparatus may also include a moveable strainer portion comprising one or more removable mesh portions. Each of the one or more removable mesh portions may have a plurality of pores and configured to capture solid particulates suspended in the heated fluid stream. The one or more removable mesh portions may be operable to be removingly received in the receiving portion of the housing.

Disclosed is a filter device, including: a filter cage, a filter cartridge sleeved at outer side of the filter cage and an end cap connected to one end of the filter cartridge; the end cap is provided with a through end hole, and one end of the filter cage corresponding to the end cap is provided with a middle column penetrating through the end hole; and the filter device further includes: a cover body installed at outer side of the end cap; where the end cap is provided with a plurality of clamping elements used for pressing against the middle column, and the cover body pushes the clamping elements to move to the middle column in a process that the cover body rotates around the middle column along a rotation direction, so that the middle column is clamped by the plurality of clamping elements.

A filter assembly may include a housing and a cover movably connected to the housing and movable between an open position and a closed position. The filter assembly may also include at least one projection extending from the cover towards an interior of the housing and a filter element that fits at least partially within the housing. When the cover is moved from the open position to the closed position, at least one projection interfaces with the filter element and causes the filter element to pivot within the housing, such that the at least one projection seals the filter element and the housing together when the cover is in the closed position.
