The present invention provides a connecting structure for plate members, including a projection projected from one of the plate members in a first direction, and a groove provided on the other of the plate members to have inner faces facing each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction and configured to fittingly receive the projection. A jigsaw puzzle kit is provided having a plurality of interlocking puzzle pieces configured for assembly to form a three dimensional image, each puzzle piece having a surface an image applied thereon, a resilient layer for generating a tactile response when the puzzle piece is depressed, and a rigid backing layer below the resilient layer for providing support. Also provided is a method of manufacturing a jigsaw puzzle which includes the steps of applying an image onto the surface of a resilient material; applying a mold to the resilient material so as to create variations in the height of the resilient layer; adhering a rigid backing material to the molded resilient material; and die cutting the resilient material and the rigid backing material to create a plurality of interlocking puzzle pieces.
Tabletop game
A re-configurable game board set can be used to play a variety of games in a variety of configurations and can be compacted for easy storage or transportation. The game board set can be of a size to easily fit on a tabletop and can use coins or similar tokens as playing pieces. Alternatively, the game board set could be larger to be played with larger playing pieces such as beanbags, balls, or discs. Games can be played with or without launching pads.

A device for setting up a game with a ball, the device being reversibly dismountable so that it can be assembled and/or played with anywhere on an existing plate surface. The device includes at least one ball clamping unit with a first side wall, a second side wall, and a ball admission opening which is arranged between the first side wall and the second side wall. The ball is clamped in the at least one ball clamping unit so that the ball remains on the existing plate surface when the ball enters the ball admission opening. The at least one ball clamping unit is detachably fastened to the existing plate surface in an assembled state.

The invention relates to a shape memory polymer-based game kit. The kit includes a plurality of elastic copolymer materials and an an instruction manual comprising one or more user instructions specifying rules of one or more games. Each of the elastic copolymer materials being mechanically manipulate able from its original shape into one or more three-dimensional structures, and reverse back to its original shape by being subjected to a stimulus having a shape recovery temperature. These materials offer a secure and non-toxic alternative for children's toys and item decoration.

The invention relates to a game board (1) for a board game, having a flat bottom part (2), which can be rolled up corresponding to a roll axis (A) into a transport position and has at least one first edge side (2.1) as well as a second edge side (2.2) opposite the latter, which extend skew to the roll axis (A), a first side part (3) connected along the first edge side (2.1) to the bottom part (2) as well as a second side part (4) connected along the second edge side (2.2) to the bottom part (2), which are designed strip-like and can be adjusted between a use position raised relative to the bottom part (2) and an intermediate position parallel to the latter and can be rolled up from the intermediate position together with the bottom part (2).
In order to make a travel board game available with improved functionality, it is provided according to the invention that the first (3) and second side part (4) in each case have a bistable spring band (7), which extends in a first stable state for stiffening the side part (3, 4) parallel to the adjacent edge side (2.1, 2.2).

The device includes at least one ball clamping unit with a first side wall, a second side wall, and a ball admission opening which is arranged between the first side wall and the second side wall. The ball is clamped in the at least one ball clamping unit so that the ball remains on the existing plate surface when the ball enters the ball admission opening. The at least one ball clamping unit is detachably fastened to the existing plate surface in an assembled state.
