A method and apparatus for increasing dewatering efficiency of a solids-laden liquid stream in a wastewater treatment facility, whereby a liquids-solids stream is pumped into a mixing apparatus in a closed-channel liquid flow conduit configuration, where the liquids-solids stream is intensely mixed with air and polymer in a mixing zone created by an adjustable flow restriction device, performing similar to a venturi to increase the velocity, agitation, and turbulence of the liquids-solids stream internal to the mixer, where the introduction of air and polymer to the stream is introduced independent of mixing energy. Compared with current methods and apparatuses to mix polymer with solids-laden wastewater, the present method and apparatus requires less energy, where it enables the addition of air independent of mixing energy, and it creates a zone of mixing with greater mixing efficiency via increased turbulence.

A bubble generator includes an ejector including a flow passage, a water supplier that supplies water into the flow passage, an air supplier that supplies air into the flow passage, a cleaner supplier that supplies a cleaner into the flow passage, and a bubble discharger that discharges bubbles generated by mixing the water, the air, and the cleaner; a water supply device that supplies water to the flow passage via the water supplier, and a cleaner supply device that supplies the cleaner to the flow passage via the cleaner supplier. The cleaner supplier is formed on a lower surface of the flow passage.

A gas mixing device may include a main conduit and a gas transferring device connected to the main conduit. The gas transferring device may include a distribution device surrounding the main conduit, a supplying conduit connected to the distribution device and defining a supplying path, and a plurality of connection conduits connecting the first distribution device to the main conduit. A medicament preparation system includes a disposable cartridge with a flow path. Various sensors may be placed on the cartridge to measure qualities of the fluid flowing through the flow path. The sensors are placed in precise locations using various approaches that make manufacturing of the cartridge efficient and repeatable. A drain line that is susceptible to fouling may be preattached and various approaches are used to remove or reduce the fouling. A method to feed a chemical into a liquid flow using a feed device including a nozzle casing having an isolated mixing space including: feeding the chemical to the isolated mixing space in the feed device; feeding a mixing liquid to the isolated mixing space; mixing the chemical and the mixing liquid in the isolated mixing space to form a mixture of chemical and mixing liquid, and feeding the mixture of chemical and mixing liquid to the liquid flow.
