BIOREACTOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention is a composting bioreactor system that continually receives biodegradable solid wastes, waste waters and exhaust gases, automatically recycles the biodegradable wastes into nutrients and heat energy, and automatically supplies the nutrients and heat into an integrated hydroponic or aquaponic system. This invention together with integrated food growing system may be installed onsite such as balconies, backyards and premises of restaurants and food factories etc. therefore may lead to zero mileage targets both for recycling wastes and for supplying foods. This invention integrates composting process and aquaponic technology together and may establish a closed-loop recirculation of both water and gases therefore upgrades aquaponics into compoponics. A compoponic system has both soil and soilless growing beds and mimics nature recirculating nutrients, carbon and energy among human being, animals, microorganisms and plants by way of photosynthesis, slow burning by cellular respiration and burning by combustion.
MIXING BIOLOGICAL COMPONENTS WITHOUT FROTHING
A device for the mixing fluid media. The device is a bladeless mixer. The device comprises a hollow body with at least a single inlet opening in its bottom and at least a single outflow region in its side. The device is rotated at a speed at which the media due to centrifugal forces enters the device's hollow cavity via the inflow opening or unit. The media is discharged from the cavity through one or more outlet units or openings in the sides or in the top of the device. During mixing the media does not rise above the level of the undisturbed media.
Double-cone pumping device
The invention relates to a double-cone pumping device, designed to provide for flow of the liquid product only on the outer side of the rotating cones, making it compatible with mixing of particulate-containing liquid products; and specifically advanced for high pumping capacity in mixing-agitation applications in food processing. The double-cone pumping device comprises two cones that are axially symmetrically arranged with their large bases abutting, and rotatable around the axis, and an axial shaft that connects to driving means. The invention also relates to a use of this pump in processing of liquid food.
WASTEWATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR PURIFYING WASTEWATER
A wastewater purification apparatus includes an elongate tank, which has an inflow for feeding wastewater, a first vertical agitator with a first hyperboloid agitator body mounted on a vertical first agitator shaft and provided in a first treatment portion downstream of the inflow on the first narrow side, a second vertical agitator with a second hyperboloid agitator body mounted on a vertical second agitator shaft and provided in a second treatment portion downstream of the first vertical agitator, an aeration device with a fan for aerating wastewater received in the tank, a first drive device for rotating the first hyperboloid agitator body in a first rotation direction, a second drive device for rotating the second hyperboloid agitator body in a second rotation direction opposite the first rotation direction, and a decanter for discharging purified wastewater in a third treatment portion on a second narrow side opposite the first narrow side.
HYPERBOLOID AGITATOR FOR CIRCULATING LIQUIDS, AND AGITATING AND GASSING DEVICE
A hyperboloid agitator for circulating liquids, in particular water, wastewater or the like, in the centre of which a connection portion (2) for connection to a hollow agitator shaft (1) is provided, characterised in that the hyperboloid agitator is formed as a hollow body, with a central aperture (3) for supplying air being provided in the connection portion (2), and in that an air distribution device (9, 10, 11) for distributing air supplied through the aperture (3) to a plurality of air outlet openings (14) provided in the hollow body is provided downstream of the aperture (3)
DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING AND SEPARATING SPECIMEN AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AND SEPARATING SPECIMEN
An analyte identifying and sorting apparatus for sorting a target analyte based on an identification result of analytes dispersed in a liquid. The apparatus includes an identification unit including an analyte storage section configured to store analytes dispersed in a liquid, a pressure control section configured to feed the liquid to a flow path provided to extend downward from the analyte storage section, a light irradiation section configured to irradiate light to the analytes, an optical information measurement section measuring optical information of the analytes, and a determination section determining whether the analyte is a target analyte or a non-target analyte based on the optical information. Also included is a sorting unit that includes a sorting nozzle connected to the identification unit and sorts a sorted solution containing the target analyte to the vessel, an effluent collection section having a suction nozzle to suck and collect an effluent involving an effluent discharged from a tip of the sorting nozzle, and a collection vessel configured to collect the sorted solution containing the target analyte. A moving unit moves the sorting nozzle and/or the collection vessel, a control unit moves the sorting nozzle and/or the collection vessel based on the optical information, and a stirring unit including a stirring member in an inner space of the analyte storage section.
Hyperboloid agitator for circulating liquids, and agitating and gassing device
A hyperboloid agitator for circulating liquids, in particular water, wastewater or the like, in the centre of which a connection portion (2) for connection to a hollow agitator shaft (1) is provided, characterised in that the hyperboloid agitator is formed as a hollow body, with a central aperture (3) for supplying air being provided in the connection portion (2), and in that an air distribution device (9, 10, 11) for distributing air supplied through the aperture (3) to a plurality of air outlet openings (14) provided in the hollow body is provided downstream of the aperture (3).
