The apparatus includes a dispensing device configured to receive a plurality of cartridges that each contain a cosmetic material and to dispense a specified amount of the cosmetic material from each cartridge onto a dispensing surface from a respective outlet that corresponds to each cartridge. The dispensing surface includes at least one partition that partitions the dispensing surface into a plurality of compartments each corresponding to a region surrounding at least one of the respective outlets.

Liquid dispenser and method for operating such a liquid dispenser, such as a dispenser for tinting pastes. The dispenser comprises at least one liquid container and at least one reciprocating pump. First, a suction stroke is carried out at a set pump speed. After the suction stroke, the pump is closed off. Then, a pressure stroke is started while the pump is closed.

A feeding container includes a container body 51, 52 capable of accommodating contents, and a nozzle 54 provided in an upper portion of the container body, and the contents accommodated in the container body is discharged from the nozzle 54. The present invention discloses a handheld device 200 and a method for creating customised cosmetic colours instantly. The handheld device 200 comprises a holder body 202 with two or more slots to house two or more dispensers that dispense two or more base colour liquid lipsticks. The handheld device 200 further comprises a container 212. In order to create customised liquid lipsticks, a user follows a colour recipe chart 600 and dispenses the two or more base colours in the two or more dispensers in predetermined ratios to create a custom colour in the container 212. While the present description focuses on creating liquid lipsticks, it will be apparent to those with ordinary skill in the art that the handheld device 200 and the method can be used to create any other colour cosmetics or artists colours.

A weight-volume mixing color matching method, reclamation mechanism and automatic color mixer for automobile refinishing paintings are discussed. The method comprises (1) finding out an automobile information ID card printed with a color number on an automobile body to be refinished, finding out a color code of the automobile body or getting a close color card code through comparison, and finding out a weight formula of the refinishing paints to be used through a reader or a computer color-matching system; or using a spectrophotometer to detect coatings of the automobile body to be refinished at a position where a surface of the coatings is complete, and outputting a weight formula of the refinishing paints after calculation; and (2) converting the weight formula of the refinishing paints into a corresponding volume formula of the refinishing paints according to a measured specific gravity of a color masterbatch.

A device for dispensing a formulation of at least two compounds selected from a set of selectable compounds includes a plurality of containers storing the different selectable compounds, a pump associated with each container, a dispensing surface that includes at least two through openings configured to convey at least two selected compounds, a selector configured to connect the at least two through openings to the pumps for the selected compounds and to close the other pumps, and an actuator configured to activate all of the pumps and to only deliver the at least two selected compounds onto the dispensing surface.
