PACKAGE OF A TOBACCO OR NICOTINE CONTAINING PRODUCT COMPRISING A MOISTURE REGULATING PRODUCT
Package of a tobacco or nicotine containing product comprising a packaging material having a moisture regulating product, the moisture regulating product comprising at least one metal-organic framework compound and at least an inorganic salt.
Sorbents for Recovery of Lithium Values from Brines
Processes are disclosed for the preparation of granular sorbent, useful to recover lithium values from brine. The process comprises reacting a granular aluminum hydroxide with an aqueous solution containing lithium salt and alkali hydroxide, optionally in the presence of alkali chloride. The granular aluminum hydroxide can be a compressed aluminum hydroxide having an average particle size of at least 300 microns. The granular sorbent obtained by the method and its use to recover lithium values from brine are disclosed.
MOISTURE CONTROL MODULE FOR AUTOMOBILE LAMPS
Proposed is a moisture control module for an automobile lamp, the moisture control module includes a moisture absorption composition in the accommodating part and seals the moisture absorption composition with a breathable film and a cover, thereby reducing mounting time, space, and cost as compared with a pouch type absorbent. In addition, the moisture absorption performance continues for a long time, and when used in a closed device, which is prone to dew condensation inside according to temperature changes, especially when used in automobile lamps, the internal humidity is kept low, so that dew condensation does not occur inside, and at the same time, has the effect of preventing damage to the packaging material, etc.
Method for manufacturing an ammonia storage cartridge, in particular for a motor vehicle exhaust system
A method for manufacturing an ammonia storage cartridge includes a step for supplying a material by ammonia absorption or adsorption by absorbent salts, a step for producing an intermediate element, including compacting the material to form the intermediate element, a step for stacking at least two intermediate elements in a shell of the cartridge, and a step for compressing the stack of intermediate elements in the shell.
Processes and treatment systems for treating high phosphorous containing fluids
Disclosed herein are processes for treating high-P fluid involving (1) providing a high-P containing stream; (2) chemically treating the high-P stream such that a majority of dissolved P in the stream is transformed into a solid form via sorption of P onto particles placed or precipitated within the stream; and (3) removing the solid form containing P from the chemically treated fine solids stream, such that >about 90% of the total P is removed from the high-P fluid. Also disclosed are systems for treating a high-P stream, the systems involving (1) a chemical treatment station operable to chemically treat and transform equal to or greater than about 90% of dissolved P in a high-P stream into a solid form; and (2) a liquid-solid separator station operable to remove the solid form containing P from the chemically treated high-P stream.
ENCAPSULATED FRAGRANCE IN COMPRESSED TABLET
A tablet having a deliquescent desiccant and a fragrance encapsulated on or within a binding agent, and wherein the encapsulated fragrance is derived from an essential oil. A method of making a tablet involves providing a deliquescent desiccant, encapsulating a fragrance by spray drying the fragrance on a carbohydrate, combining the deliquescent desiccant and the carbohydrate encapsulated fragrance, and pressing the combination into the tablet.
LACTIC ACID ADSORBENT AND METHOD FOR REMOVING LACTIC ACID
A lactic acid adsorbent includes a layered double hydroxide that contains multiple metal hydroxide layers and also contains anions and water molecules held between the metal hydroxide layers. The anions include (i) an amino acid such as glutamine, (ii) a dipeptide constituted by one or two kinds of amino acids such as glutamine, (iii) a vitamin such as ascorbic acid 2-phosphate, (iv) a pH buffer such as MES, (v) a glucose metabolite such as pyruvic acid, or (vi) inorganic ions selected from a group including NO.sub.3.sup.− and Cl.sup.−.
OXYGEN SCAVENGER COMPOSITION AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SAME
An oxygen scavenger composition including a mixed granule that includes a water retention agent, a swelling agent, a metal salt, water, and iron, as well as a method for producing the oxygen scavenger composition, the method including: collectively mixing a water retention agent, a swelling agent, a metal salt, water, and iron for granulation.
Moisture absorbent pack for vehicle lamp
A moisture absorbent for a vehicle lamp includes a first inorganic material, a second inorganic material, alkali metal phosphate, and a polymer wax are included. A composite moisture absorbent structure includes a first moisture absorbent pack including a powder type moisture absorbent and a second moisture absorbent pack including a capsule type moisture absorbent are embedded.
Dual ligand sol-gel sorbent combining superhydrophobicity and Π-Π interaction
A method of coating at least one silica capillary using a novel dual ligand sol-gel sorbent and method of manufacture of such sorbent is provided herein. The dual ligand sol-gel sorbent provides superior enrichment effects through simultaneous exploitation of superhydrophobicity of one of the ligands and the ability of the other ligand to undergo π-π interaction with hydrophobic aromatic analytes. Sorbent performance is enhanced both in terms of analyte enrichment and sorbent stability, such as pH stability and solvent stability.
