The present disclosure relates to a preparation method for a super absorbent polymer sheet and a super absorbent polymer sheet prepared therefrom. According to the preparation method of the present disclosure, a porous super absorbent polymer sheet can be prepared by a simplified process.

GAS TRAPPING MEMBER AND VACUUM HEAT INSULATION EQUIPMENT

There is provided a gas trapping material and vacuum heat insulation equipment where the gas trapping material can be activated in a sealing step of the vacuum heat insulation equipment, and production efficiency can be enhanced by maintaining a high gas trapping characteristic even when a gas is released in a baking step or in a sealing step under an air atmosphere. The gas trapping material contains porous metal oxide and silver particles having an average particle size of 0.5 nm to 100 nm inclusive.

RHO zeolites and method of making the same

Disclosed are novel, as-crystallized RHO zeolite compositions with improved uniformity in morphology. These RHO compositions are useful for preparing cation-exchanged RHO zeolites that can be used as adsorbents for oxygen and/or nitrogen with improved properties. The adsorbents can be used in pressure swing adsorption processes for selectively adsorbing oxygen and/or nitrogen from feed streams such as an air stream or crude argon stream. Also disclosed are novel methods of preparing RHO zeolites with improved morphology control.

SUBSTRATES HAVING REPEATING PATTERNS OF APERTURES FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLES

The present disclosure is directed to substrates or topsheets having repeating patterns of apertures for absorbent articles. Each of the repeat units comprises at least three apertures.

CAVITAND COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

Cavitand compositions that comprise void spaces are disclosed. The void spaces may be empty, which means that voids are free of guest molecules or atoms, or the void spaces may comprise guest molecules or atoms that are normally in their gas phase at standard temperature and pressure. These cavitands may be useful for industrial applications, such as the separation or storage of gasses. Novel cavitand compounds are also disclosed.

Sorbent and Devices for Capturing, Stabilizing and Recovering Volatile and Semi-volatile Compounds

The present invention provides an improved sorbent and corresponding device(s) and uses thereof for the capture and stabilization of volatile organic compounds (VOC) or semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOC) from a gaseous atmosphere. The sorbent is capable of rapid and high uptake of one or more compounds and provides quantitative release (recovery) of the compound(s) when exposed to elevated temperature and/or organic solvent. Uses of particular improved grades of mesoporous silica are disclosed.

POROUS MICROSPHERES AND STATIONARY PHASE MEDIUM AND CHROMATOGRAPHIC COLUMN COMPRISING SAME

The invention relates to a stationary phase medium for adsorption chromatography, which is in form of porous microspheres suitable for being packed into a chromatographic column. The porous microspheres are made of cross-linked polymeric material and formed with interconnected macropores to constitute a porous network. The invented porous microspheres have a characteristic size ratio of porous network diameter to microsphere particle size, and the porous network is in fluid communication with the ambient via multiple openings, so that molecules are convectively transported through the porous network. Accordingly, the invention shows low back pressure and high binding capacity to molecules at high mobile phase velocities.

High charge density metallophosphate molecular sieves

A family of highly charged crystalline microporous metallophosphate molecular sieves designated PST-16 has been synthesized. These metallophosphates are represented by the empirical formula of:
R.sup.p+.sub.rA.sub.m.sup.+M.sub.xE.sub.yPO.sub.z
where A is an alkali metal such as potassium, R is an organoammonium cation such as ethyltrimethylammonium, M is a divalent metal such as zinc and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. The PST-16 family of molecular sieves are stabilized by combinations of alkali and organoammonium cations, enabling unique metalloalumino(gallo)phosphate compositions and exhibit the CGS topology. The PST-17 family of molecular sieves has catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separation properties for separating at least one component.
