Carbon dioxide recovery method and recovery device
10682603 · 2020-06-16 · ·

A carbon dioxide recovery apparatus has: a separator that separates carbon dioxide from a gas and discharges a residual gas from which carbon dioxide has been removed; a dryer having a hygroscopic agent for drying the gas to be supplied to the separator; and a regeneration system which supplies the residual gas to the dryer as a regeneration gas for regenerating the hygroscopic agent in the dryer. The separator utilizes adsorption/desorption of carbon dioxide to an adsorbent caused by pressure fluctuation. A supplement system supplies a supplement gas from an outside to the residual gas depending on a flow rate of the residual gas discharged from the separator such that a flow rate of the regeneration gas is a predetermined rate.

SWING ADSORPTION PROCESSES USING ZEOLITE STRUCTURES

The present disclosure describes the use of a specific adsorbent material in a rapid cycle swing adsorption to perform dehydration of a gaseous feed stream. The adsorbent material includes a zeolite 3A that is utilized in the dehydration process to enhance recovery of hydrocarbons.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GAS TREATMENT

A system and process for the recovery of at least one halogenated hydrocarbon from a gas stream. The recovery includes adsorption by exposing the gas stream to an adsorbent with a lattice structure having pore diameters with an average pore opening of between about 5 and about 50 angstroms. The adsorbent is then regenerated by exposing the adsorbent to a purge gas under conditions which efficiently desorb the at least one adsorbed halogenated hydrocarbon from the adsorbent. The at least one halogenated hydrocarbon (and impurities or reaction products) can be condensed from the purge gas and subjected to fractional distillation to provide a recovered halogenated hydrocarbon.

FOOD CONTAINER FOR PRESERVING FRESHNESS OF FOOD ITEMS
20200156850 · 2020-05-21 ·

The invention discloses a food container for preserving freshness of food, comprising a container body having a cavity adapted for containing food items; a lid detachably secured on the container body to close the cavity of the container; and one or more food preserving elements capable of absorbing food spoiling gas to preserve freshness of the food items. The one or more food preserving elements are disposed inside the cavity and/or into a material of the food container to preserve the food items for an extended period of time and remove odors.

Adsorptive process for separation of isoparaffinic lube base stock from lower quality oils

Provided herein are methods and systems of making a high quality isoparaffinic base stock which include contacting an adsorbent material with a hydrocarbon feedstock and a solvent and separating at least some of the one or more high VI components from the hydrocarbon feedstock to produce a first fraction base stock having a first fraction base stock viscosity index. The adsorbent material is desorbed with a second solvent to produce a second fraction base stock having a second fraction base stock viscosity index. In these methods, the first fraction base stock viscosity index is less than the hydrocarbon feedstock viscosity index and the second fraction base stock viscosity index is greater than the hydrocarbon feedstock viscosity index.

Self-Supporting Structures Having Active Materials

A method and system for manufacturing and using a self-supporting structure in processing unit for adsorption or catalytic processes. The self-supporting structure has greater than 50% by weight of the active material in the self-supporting structure to provide a foam-geometry structure providing access to the active material. The self-supporting structures, which may be disposed in a processing unit, may be used in swing adsorption processes and other processes to enhance the recovery of hydrocarbons.

PROCESS FOR PURIFICATION OF VINYL ACETATE FOR USE IN POLYMERIZATION IN THE PRESENCE OF ETHYLENE

Process for purification of unreacted vinyl acetate monomers comprising the steps of preliminarily loading an adsorbent agent bed with a mixture comprising an inert gas and fresh vinyl acetate; and feeding said adsorbent agent bed with unreacted vinyl acetate monomers to remove acetic acid.

GAS DEHYDRATION WITH MIXED ADSORBENT/DESICCANT BEDS
