TITANIUM OXIDE PARTICLES, DISPERSION LIQUID THEREOF, PHOTOCATALYST THIN FILM, MEMBER HAVING PHOTOCATALYST THIN FILM ON SURFACE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING TITANIUM OXIDE PARTICLE DISPERSION LIQUID
Provided are titanium oxide particles having a higher photocatalytic activity as compared to the conventional ones; a dispersion liquid thereof; a photocatalyst thin film formed using such dispersion liquid; a member having such photocatalyst thin film on its surface; and a method for producing the titanium oxide particle dispersion liquid. The titanium oxide particles are those with a titanium component and a silicon component being adhered to the surfaces thereof, wherein a molar ratio of the titanium component to titanium oxide (TiO.sub.2/Ti) is 10 to 10,000, and a molar ratio of the silicon component to titanium oxide (TiO.sub.2/Si) is 1 to 10,000; and the titanium oxide particle dispersion liquid is one with such titanium oxide particles being dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium.
SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION CATALYST AND CATALYTIC ARTICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst comprising a support, vanadium and antimony, a catalytic article comprising the SCR catalyst, and an exhaust treatment system for an internal combustion engine comprising the SCR catalyst. In one embodiment, the invention provides an SCR catalyst for reduction of 5 nitrogen oxides, comprising: a support, and an active material on the support; wherein the support, calculated as its oxide, is present in the SCR catalyst in an amount of 40 to 99% by weight, relative to the total weight of the SCR catalyst; the active material comprises vanadium and antimony; the vanadium, calculated as V.sub.2O.sub.5, is present in the SCR catalyst in an amount of 1 to 15% by weight, relative to the total weight of the SCR catalyst; the 10 antimony, calculated as Sb.sub.2O.sub.3, is present in the SCR catalyst in an amount of 0.5 to 20% by weight, relative to the total weight of the SCR catalyst; wherein the SCR catalyst, after hydrothermally aged at 550° C. for 100 hours with 10% water, has a 200-300° C. denitrification efficiency of at least 60%, with 60,000h.sup.−1 space velocity and an ammonia to NOx molar ratio of 1:11

METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING AMORPHOUS Pd-BASED NANOPARTICLES
A general and controlled method for synthesizing amorphous Pd-based nanoparticles is provided. The provided method comprises: dissolving a Pd precursor in a first solvent to form a first solution; mixing the first solution with a second solvent to form a first mixture; adding surfactant into the first mixture to form a second mixture; heating the second mixture to render a second solution; adding other metal precursor into the second solution to form a third mixture; heating the third mixture to render a third solution; naturally cooling down the third solution; adding ethanol to the third solution to form a fourth solution; and collecting the amorphous Pd-based nanoparticles from the fourth solution. The provided method allows tuning of the phase of Pd-based nanoparticles to obtain amorphous Pd-based nanocatalysts to efficiently switch the ring-opening route of epoxides for the synthesis of distinct targeted chemicals and modulating of the catalytic performance thereof in electrochemical hydrogen emission reactions.

Modified calcium silicate based nickel catalyst and preparation method and application thereof
A calcium silicate based nickel catalyst and a preparation method and application thereof are provided. The method includes: leaching a silicon based solid waste with an alkali agent to obtain a silicate leaching solution; adding the silicate leaching solution and a nitrate solution corresponding to a lanthanum metal dropwise to a calcium hydroxide suspension for a first precipitation reaction, and subjecting a precipitate produced by the reaction to filtration, drying and calcination to obtain a modified calcium silicate support; and dispersing the modified calcium silicate support in an anhydrous alcohol solvent to obtain a mixed suspension, adding an alcohol solution of a nickel salt dropwise to the mixed suspension for a second precipitation reaction, conducting heating and stirring until alcohols in the anhydrous alcohol solvent and the alcohol solution of a nickel salt are volatilized, and conducting drying and calcination to obtain the modified calcium silicate based nickel catalyst.
Photocatalyst and application thereof in environmentally friendly photocatalytic treatment of power battery
Disclosed are a photocatalyst and application thereof in environmentally friendly photocatalytic treatment of a power battery. The photocatalyst is obtained by loading Ag—TaON on a hollow glass microsphere, wherein a mass ratio of the Ag—TaON to the hollow glass microsphere is 1:5 to 10. According to the invention, the Ag—TaON and the hollow glass microsphere are compounded, the hollow glass microsphere has better light permeability, which avoids mutual shielding between catalysts, such that the photocatalyst filled in a reactor is fully excited, which is capable of effectively improving a light utilization rate, thus improving the catalytic conversion efficiency of the photocatalyst.
