A hotel or motel room incorporates special effects in accordance with a particular theme (e.g., haunted room). A control room provides a concealed area for personnel and/or automated systems to trigger the special effects which may include, but are limited to shaking, rattling, rumbling, pepper ghosts, water fixtures being activated, thunder and lightning, swapping tiles with digital graphics, turning on a TV, clock or light, etc. Heat sensors, weight sensors, floor mats and/or other sensors determine positions of guests in the hotel and hotel rooms thereby allowing the automatic or manual triggering of the special effects.

The present disclosure provides a collapsible activity structure. The structure includes panels arranged in a chain-like structure through hinges. Each hinge is coupled to a first connecting end of a panel to a second connecting end of an adjacent panel of the plurality of panels. In a folded position of hinges, the panels are in a stacked configuration. A coupling member including a male coupling member and a female coupling member is provided. The male coupling member is disposed onto the first connecting end of a first end panel and the female coupling member is disposed onto the second connecting end of a second end panel of the chain-like structure. The male and the female coupling members are coupled to each other to lock the first and the second end panels in an unfolding position of the hinges to form a frustum configuration.

An assembled slide is defined with a slide front side and a slide back side, comprises a head section, a connect section and a tail section. The head section is disposed with a first carrying portion at a head section first end facing the connect section, the connect section is disposed with a first lapping portion connected to the first carrying portion at a connect section first end facing the head section and a second carrying portion at a connect section second end facing the tail section, and the tail section is disposed with a second lapping portion connected to the second carrying portion at a tail section first end facing the connect section. The head section, connect section and tail section are respectively formed with at least one accommodating groove on an axis. An amusement ride requires the participant to ascend to a platform for the beginning of the amusement ride via a single or a double helix ladder. The participants are tethered for safety. Operators attend the tether lines. The tethers also can run through belays for safety.

A portable tailgate slide is disclosed. The portable tailgate slide includes a slide portion, having a smooth top surface for sliding, sidewalls, and a bottom surface, wherein the slide portion includes a top end portion comprising at least one aperture, and wherein the bottom surface of the slide portion includes a handle protruding from therefrom, and at least one strap configured to loop around a tailgate of a truck, wherein the strap is configured to attach to the tailgate slide from the aperture to the handle.

A portable tailgate slide is disclosed. The portable tailgate slide includes a slide portion, having a smooth top surface for sliding, sidewalls, and a bottom surface, wherein the slide portion includes a top end portion comprising at least one aperture, and wherein the bottom surface of the slide portion includes a handle protruding from therefrom, and at least one strap configured to loop around a tailgate of a truck, wherein the strap is configured to attach to the tailgate slide from the aperture to the handle.
