Foam glass aggregate reduction machine
A foam glass aggregate slicing and reduction machine and system which rapidly, effectively, and economically reduces large pieces of aggregate to required sizes with minimal powdery waste. The machine comprises a foam glass aggregate collection chute having a bottom outlet section for discharging foam glass aggregate onto a holdbar located adjacent to the outlet section. A rotating roller supports a plurality of rotating roller knives which slices large pieces of foam glass aggregate to reduce the aggregate to fragments, with minimal powdery waste. A foam glass aggregate guide member directs foam glass aggregate towards the rotating roller. A foam glass aggregate filtering bar having rows of intervening spaces is located below the guide member and adjacent to the rotating roller.
GLASS WOOL CUTTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS WOOL PELLET USING THE SAME
The present invention provides a glass wool cutting device. The device includes a cutting section housing that has a cutting section chamber, a feed port that is connected to the cutting section chamber, and a discharge port that is connected to the cutting section chamber. A stationary knife is disposed on the cutting section housing to protrude into the cutting section chamber and a movable cutter that has a rotary support body is disposed in the cutting section chamber and a movable knife is supported on the rotary support body to apply a shearing force to the glass wool together with the stationary knife. Additionally, a cutter actuator provides a driving force to the rotary support body.
Mobile Shredder for Metal Materials with Improved Safety Features
A mobile shredder for metal materials comprising a feeding device, a shredding mill with a plurality of hammers associated with a rotor, and a removal device and an actuating device are provided, wherein: the feeding device comprises a hopper and a shredder with a first toothed roller and a second toothed roller that rotates in the opposite direction to that of the first roller and at a greater speed. The actuating device comprises a single motor. A control system is also provided with a plurality of hydraulic pumps for moving the rollers and a hydraulic clutch with a variable flow for moving the rotor, the plurality of hydraulic pumps and the hydraulic clutch being joined to the motor. The control system is configured to modify the rotational speed of the toothed rollers based on the motor load associated with the shredding mill; and the devices are mounted on a frame.
Comminuting apparatus comprising a feed device with an electromotive drive device
A comminuting apparatus for comminuting comminution stock like recyclable material, waste and product residues, including a comminuting rotor mounted rotatably to a machine frame and having comminuting tools arranged thereon, a receiving region for receiving comminution stock and a feed device having a ram device which is moveable in the direction towards the comminuting rotor by a drive device and which is adapted for feeding comminution stock to the comminuting rotor. The comminuting apparatus is distinguished in that the drive device of the feed device has at least two spaced electric actuators which are controlled by a control device and which are connected at the drive output side by a transverse member, wherein the transverse member is operatively connected to the ram device by a resilient damping device.
ROUND TOOTH CUTTERS
A device for mechanically removing material from a workpiece or bulk feedstock, thereby creating chips of removed material while producing a new surface on the workpiece or bulk feedstock. The device comprises a body and at least one round cutting insert that is tangentially mounted on the body. Location and orientation of the insert is characterized by a reference plane offset and an insert axis angle. The insert has an outwardly-facing rake surface on which chips are formed. A planar flank surface is oriented relative to a cutting motion so as to provide clearance between the cutting insert and the surface created by removal of a layer that is converted into chips. A circular cutting edge lies at the intersection of the flank and rake surfaces.
Shredding and baling apparatus and method
A shredding and baling apparatus provided includes a shredding assembly operatively connected to a baling assembly via a conveyor. A rotatable drum with cutting teeth spirally arranged along the drum is preferably centered within a lower portion of an intake hopper for cutting through material as it is fed into the hopper. Fixed cutting teeth are preferably arranged in a row or rows along each of the longitudinal sidewalls of the hopper, adjacent the cutting drum. A touch screen display and computer may be used in combination with sensors to monitor and control the shredding and baling operation, and a hydraulic system is used to drive the components. The shredding and baling assembly is preferably designed in an industrial size to handle high volumes of material and may be driven or transported from one location to another.
Cutter assembly for grinding and crushing machines with replaceable cutting edges
A cutter assembly is presented for mounting to one or more hammers of a rotor assembly of a grinding machine. The cutter assembly includes a base, a tip mount, at least one cutting edge and a wedge releasably secured to the tip mount, and a fastener securing the base and the tip mount to the hammer. The base includes a truncated pyramid key and the tip mount includes a corresponding truncated pyramid keyway. A wedge edge angle is defined between a wedge top face and side face.
