TOOTH FOR FRAGMENTING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A tooth is made from a casting of one material. The tooth includes a working surface having a first edge and a second edge. The first edge has at least three teeth. The second edge also has at least three teeth. The working surface is provided with a welded overlay or a hardfaced welded overlay, The tooth can be attached to a mount on a rotating drum. The tooth is removably attached to the drum so that when it wears it can be replaced with another tooth. The rotating drum is part of a fragmenting machine.
SHREDDER FOR COMMINUTING BULK MATERIAL
A shredder includes a shredder box having a first end wall, a second end wall, and opposite side walls extending between the first and second end walls. A lower discharge opening discharges shredded material from the shredder box. A shredder rotor is positioned within an interior of the shredder box, the shredder rotor being rotatable about a rotor axis and including a main rotor body and plurality of rotor teeth mounted to the main rotor body. A shredder comb is positioned adjacent to the shredder rotor and includes comb teeth that intermesh with the rotor teeth. An upper hopper is located above the shredder box for receiving material to be shredded. The upper hopper includes an upper hopper end wall formed with a concavity to facilitate feeding of material to be shredded into the shredder box and to the shredder rotor.

A wood chipper and a method of using the wood chipper are provided. The wood chipper has a rotating chipping drum with blades for reducing the size of wood fed to the chipping drum. The chipper also includes a sizing screen positioned below the chipping drum and a discharge conveyor positioned below the sizing screen. The discharge conveyor mechanically conveys wood chips from the chipping drum to a discharge point. The chipping drum has multiple pockets positioned around the exterior of the drum, and one of the blades is mounted adjacent to each one of the pockets. The pockets and blades are arranged in a configuration that consistently produces wood chips that are uniformly sized.
SHREDDING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a shredding device which comprises a shredding roller which has a substantially tubular structure and is rotatable about an axis of rotation, at least one tooth holder fastened to the roller for receiving and fastening a shredding tooth, a shredding tooth which is fastened to the tooth holder of the roller, a counter cutting edge, whose longitudinal axis is oriented in parallel to the axis of rotation of the shredding roller, and at least one cutting plate arranged on the counter cutting edge, which comprises a shredding edge with a contour which, during rotation of the shredding roller, forms a counter-comb to the shredding roller and at least one shredding tooth arranged thereon.
