MATERIAL REDUCTION MACHINE WITH DYNAMIC INFEED CONTROL
20210229108 · 2021-07-29 ·

A material reduction machine includes a prime mover driving a cutting mechanism. An infeed portion engages a piece of material to feed it forward to the cutting mechanism. A sensor senses a machine load parameter via the cutting mechanism and/or prime mover and reports a signal to a controller operatively coupled to the infeed portion to control sequential cutting cycles on the piece of material. The controller utilizes a stored first stop threshold value for stopping a first cutting cycle and continues monitoring the signal as machine load increases momentarily after reaching the first stop threshold. The controller determines and adopts a second stop threshold value based on observation of the machine load parameter indicative of maximum load during the continued monitoring following attainment of the first stop threshold, and further being based on a stored correction factor. The second stop threshold value is used for a second cutting cycle.

Grinding blade for an angle grinder
11065623 · 2021-07-20 ·

A grinding blade having a blade body, a plurality of tooth mounts, a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plurality of blade stops is disclosed. The blade body has a front surface, a back surface, and a blade mounting hole along a central axis. The tooth mounts and blade stops are integral with the blade body and protrude upward and away from the back surface and the central axis. Each tooth mount has a cutting tooth releasably coupled through a tooth aperture. The blade stops and tooth mounts are equal in number and are distributed alternatingly and with radial symmetry about the central axis. A cross section of the solid of revolution defined by rotating the blade stops about the central axis overlaps with at least two thirds of a cross section of the solid of revolution defined by rotating the cutting teeth about the central axis.

Paper shredder with paper limiter

A paper shredder has a paper tray, a paper inlet, a shredder cover, a paper pressing plate, paper pick-up rollers, a shredder cutter shaft, a motor, a wastepaper barrel, and a paper limiter. The paper tray carries a stack of to-be-shredded paper. The paper inlet guides to-be-shredded paper. The shredder cover end is connected to the shredder body by a rotary shaft, closing or opening the shredder body. The paper pressing pl presses the stack in the paper tray. The paper pick-up rollers are on one side of the paper inlet, feeding the paper tray stack into the paper inlet. The shredder cutter shaft shreds the to-be-shredded paper. The motor drives the shredder cutter shaft to operate. The wastepaper barrel is located below the paper inlet to collect shredded paper. The paper limiter is limits one of a thickness or a length of the stack placed in the paper tray.

A sheet manufacturing system includes a sheet manufacturing apparatus that decomposes a document, and a server apparatus that manages a process status of the document, in which the sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a read unit that reads identification information attached to the document, a processing unit that decomposes the document the identification information of which was read by the read unit and that is determined to be suitable for a decomposing process, a determination unit that determines that the document was decomposed by the processing unit, and a first communication unit that transmits to the server apparatus the identification information of the document determined by the determination unit to have been decomposed by the processing unit.

SMART GRINDER
20210282447 · 2021-09-16 ·

A electronic grinder includes a main body and a grinding and dispensing chamber. The top of the main body open but covered by a cap. The main chamber includes a motor connected to a magnetically attached removable blade and propeller. The blade and propeller extend into the chamber when the grinder is assembled. When the cap is closed, the blade and propeller grinds material placed in the chamber and pull air down toward the blade and propeller. When the cap is opened, the blade and propeller function as a fan to generate airflow toward the top of the chamber to dispense ground material out of the chamber. The grinder can also include a microcontroller, a communications device, an infrared volume sensor, a scale, an audible buzzer, a vibration buzzer, and one or more sanitizing LED lights.

Special improvement package to heavy duty grinders for processing thick wastes and slick wipes in commercial and residential applications and use called a Gorilla Grinder
20210170421 · 2021-06-10 ·

An improvement kit for heavy duty grinders to process thick wastes in commercial and residential applications made of a two directional cutter having a two-blade cutter edge, a multi aperture die cup, a shaft for pump with an anti-rotational feature, a mimicking component for mimicking three phase drive to a motor stator on the pump, a control board/panel and circuitry and wiring to interconnect the components and a stator winding that allows the kit to provide a grinding solution for contamination including common household trash, a contraband material used in methamphetamine and opioid addictions, a fibrous product including wet wipes with nylon products, and heavy materials that can cause a typical grinding system to be “jetted” which requires continual maintenance and costly repairs.

WOOD CHIPPER WITH DRUM SPEED MONITORING SYSTEM AND CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH

A wood chipper having a rotatable drum configured to reduce the size of wood fed into the wood chipper; a sensor configured to sense a speed of rotation of the rotatable drum; and a controller operably connected to the sensor. The controller is configured to cut power to the rotatable drum when the speed of rotation of the rotatable drum drops below a pre-set threshold value. The controller is operably engaged with a centrifugal clutch that is engaged to enable the rotatable drum to be rotated. When the speed of drum rotation drops below the threshold value because debris is slowing down rotation of the drum, the centrifugal clutch is disengaged by dropping engine speed. Disengagement of the centrifugal clutch cuts power to the drum and rotation thereof ceases so that the debris may be cleared.

Method to operate a grinder

The present invention relates to a method to grind meat in grinder wherein the meat is provided to the grinder via a hopper (5) and transported by a feeder worm (2) to a rotating processing worm (3) which conveys the meat towards a cutting set (4) which grinds the meat and wherein the feeder worm (2) initially rotates in a first direction. In case the feeder worm (2) is overloaded, its direction of rotation is reversed to a second direction for a certain period of time and then reversed back to the first direction.
