Mobile shredder for metal materials with improved safety features
A mobile shredder for metal materials comprising a feeding device, a shredding mill with a plurality of hammers associated with a rotor, and a removal device and an actuating device are provided, wherein: the feeding device comprises a hopper and a shredder with a first toothed roller and a second toothed roller that rotates in the opposite direction to that of the first roller and at a greater speed. The actuating device comprises a single motor. A control system is also provided with a plurality of hydraulic pumps for moving the rollers and a hydraulic clutch with a variable flow for moving the rotor, the plurality of hydraulic pumps and the hydraulic clutch being joined to the motor. The control system is configured to modify the rotational speed of the toothed rollers based on the motor load associated with the shredding mill; and the devices are mounted on a frame.
Hand-held Treatment System, Hand-held Treatment Device for a Hand-held Treatment System, and Attachment for a Hand-held Treatment System
A hand-held treatment system includes: a hand-held treatment device and at least one attachment, wherein the treatment device has a movable treatment part and an electric drive motor system for moving the treatment part. The electric drive motor system has at least one electrical path with at least one interruption. The at least one attachment has a contact bridge. The treatment device and the at least one attachment are configured for the spatial arrangement of the at least one attachment from a hazard position into a safety position, which is different from the hazard position, on the treatment device such that by the at least one attachment being in the hazard position, the at least one contact bridge does not electrically bridge the at least one interruption, and by the arrangement of the at least one attachment in the safety position, the at least one contact bridge electrically bridges the at least one interruption.
Waste Destruction Device For Sharps, Needles And Solid Waste
A waste destruction device for sharps, needles and solid waste preferably includes a material intake member, a destruction device and a storage member. The material intake member includes an intake housing and an intake cover. The intake cover pivots from an open to a closed orientation to receive objects to be shredded. At least one microprocessor board is used to control devices of the waste destruction device. The waste destruction device preferably includes a cutter housing, a first cutter member, a second cutter member, a cutter motor and a cutter intake housing. The waste destruction device preferably contains disinfection devices for disinfecting thereof. The storage member preferably includes a storage housing, a container drawer and a waste container. The container drawer is slidably received by the storage housing.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY WOODCHIPPER
An automatic shutoff woodchipper having a blade for shredding material fed into the woodchipper, a motor to drive the blade, and a feed chute to direct material to the blade for shredding. An electronic sensor in the mouth of the feed chute sends an electronic proximity signal to an electronic controller when a signal device worn by an operator, detectable by the sensor, closes to within a predetermined distance from the sensor. Upon receiving the electronic proximity signal from the electronic sensor, the electronic controller generates an electronic shutoff signal that automatically halts the operation of the blade.
Waste processing machine safety device
A waste processing machine for reducing waste material and having a safety device for shearing lines. A housing defines a cutting chamber and an intake opening in communication with the cutting chamber for receiving waste material. A disc is disposed in the cutting chamber, rotates about an axis, and has an axial surface facing the intake opening. A cutting member is fixed to the disc for revolution about the axis concurrent with rotation of the disc for reducing waste material. A cutting anvil is coupled to the housing adjacent to the intake opening and faces the axial surface of the disc for reducing waste material between the cutting anvil and the cutting member. A line shear element is attached to the housing, extends into the cutting chamber toward the axial surface of the disc, and is spaced from the cutting anvil for shearing lines caught by the rotating disc.
Material processing apparatus with rotor control system
A material processing device has a rotor coupled to a rotatable shaft, and a rotor control system. The rotor control system comprises a rotor control mechanism with a first engagement member that is engagable with a second engagement member coupled to the shaft. The rotor control mechanism is operable into and out of an engaged state in which the first and second engagement members are engaged with one another. In the engaged state, the rotor control mechanism is operable in a locking mode in which the first engagement member is fixed in position to prevent rotation of the shaft, or in a rotation mode in which the first engagement member is movable to rotate the shaft. The material processing device may be a crusher, a shredder or a milling machine.
Auto-feed paper shredder having lockable door
Auto-feeding paper shredders use auto-feed mechanisms to remove sheets of paper from a large stack and shred them without human assistance or intervention. Once the document owner inserts the stack of confidential documents and leaves the scene, others are free to access the stack and read or remove confidential documents. This problem by providing a locked shredding compartment to hold the stack while shredding is taking place. An electronically operated lock that can be locked and unlocked by entering a PIN (personal identification number) through a key pad or a series of buttons or switches. Fingerprints or other biometric factors can also be used to control the lock.
Device for shredding material, in particular medical waste material
A device for shredding material has a shredding rotor, which revolves about an axis of rotation and supports at least one blade, and a first counter-blade which cooperates with the blade of the shredding rotor. A feed plate is provided here, which is mounted to be rotatable about a pivot axis and which is connected to an actuator, in particular to an electric motor, so that, with the aid of the actuator, the feed plate can be brought into a feed position, in which the material to be shredded can lie on a first main surface of the feed plate and can slide along this in the direction of the shredding rotor, and into a first pressing position in which the material to be shredded is likewise pressed with the first main surface of the feed plate against the shredding rotor and shredded between the blade and the first counter-blade.
WOOD CHIPPER WITH MORE EFFECTIVE IN-FEED ROLLERS
A wood chipper comprising a chamber in which wood is chipped, and a pair of rollers for feeding of the wood into the chamber. One of the rollers is a smooth roller and may or may not be an idle roller, and an other of the rollers is driven and has cutting elements thereon. One or more pressurized gas springs are attached to the rollers to apply a predetermined pressure to the rollers to cause the cutting elements to bite into the wood fed between the rollers. The cutting elements are blades each of which is un-notched in a direction radially of the other roller and each of which extends over substantially the entire length of the other roller.
