Cleaning device for cleaning an air-ionizing part of an electrode
A cleaning device for cleaning an air-ionizing part of an electrode. The device comprises a cleaning member arranged to be in physical contact with the air-ionizing part of the electrode, the air-ionizing part of electrode and the cleaning member being arranged to slide relative to each other. The cleaning device further comprises an actuator arranged to activate the relative motion between the air-ionizing part of the electrode and the cleaning member. There is also provided an ionization electrode comprising the air-ionizing part and the cleaning device, as well as a ultrafine particle sensor, an air ionizer or an electrostatic air cleaner comprising such an electrode.
Electronic air cleaners and associated systems and methods
Electronic air cleaners for use in heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation (HVAC) systems and associated methods and systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an electronic air cleaner includes one or more collecting electrodes having a collection material with a porous, open-cell structure and a conductive internal portion. The collection material can be configured to collect and receive charged particulate matter in an airflow path. After a period of time, used collection material can be removed from individual collecting electrodes and replaced with new collection material.
Electric field device with automatic cleaning function
The present invention discloses an electric field device with an automatic cleaning function, which includes a support, at least one hollow cylindrical dust collecting electrode, and a corona pole placed on a central axis of the hollow cylindrical dust collecting electrode, wherein an end part of the corona pole is fixed on the support, the dust collecting electrode is grounded, and the corona pole is connected to a power source; and the present invention further includes a wind wheel, an axle hole of the wind wheel is provided with an internal thread, the corona pole is provided with an external thread matched with the internal thread on the wind wheel, and a periphery of the wind wheel is provided with a dust sweeping device in contact with an inner wall of the hollow cylindrical dust collecting electrode. The electric field device does not require manual cleaning, thus saving time and costs.
Air cleaner
An air cleaner includes a rear filter receiving air from the outer environment, an ionizer grid connected to a high voltage power supply and having wires extending between opposite sides of a frame such to emit positively charged ions and apply an electrostatic charge on the air received from the rear filter; a collector grid connected to ground and having wires extending between opposite sides of a frame, the combination of the ionizer and collector grids causing the air to move toward the collector grid; a front filter collecting contaminants suspended in the air received from the collector grid; and an apparatus frame housing the rear filter, the ionizer and collector grids, and the front filter, wherein the frames of the ionizer and collector grids are suspended within the apparatus frame with isolating members made of a non-arc tracking material, such to minimize coronal discharge and reduce audible noise.
AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT WITH IONIZER HAVING SELF-CLEANING ELECTRODES
An air conditioner device includes a housing or duct having an opening for exit of air and one or more rotatable flaps for adjusting air flow rate and angle exiting through the opening. Further provided are an ionizer having an electrode for ionizing air exiting through the opening, and a cleaning member adapted to automatically frictionally remove debris from the electrode consequent to rotation of the flaps without requiring manual operation of a user.
SELF CLEANING ION GENERATOR DEVICE
A self-cleaning ion generator device includes a first portion with a base portion that extends to an outer edge and a first pair and a second pair of opposed sidewalls extending upwardly from the outer edge and intersect at corners, forming a cavity therein. A second portion includes a base portion that extends to an outer edge selectively secured to the first portion forming a housing. At least one ion emitting device extending from the housing, and at least one cleaning apparatus for cleaning the at least one ion emitting device.
VANE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPTATOR (VEP) WITH CLEANABLE HORIZONTAL DISCHARGE ELECTRODES AND MOVABLE FLOATING
A vane electrostatic precipitator includes a plurality of vanes and a plurality of horizontal discharge electrodes that follow the contour of the vane assembly and are located in front of the vane electrodes. The horizontal discharge electrodes are parallel to the vane assembly, and are located on an angle matching an operating angle of the vane assembly. The precipitator also preferably includes a plurality of concentric, moveable tubular scrapers that keep the horizontal discharge electrodes clean during the process.
BOILER
A boiler includes a flow channel having a selected chamber delimited by walls made at least partly of conductive material and being grounded, and a device arranged at least partially inside the selected chamber. The device includes an ion source comprising a corona electrode and an electrically passive body having an opening for corona discharge. The corona electrode is located inside the electrically passive body. A fan/shielding-gas connection is in the electrically passive body. The shielding gas exits the electrically passive body through the opening. The device also includes a high-voltage source for the corona electrode. The walls of the selected chamber of the boiler form a ground potential for the corona electrode to collect the fine particles of flue gases on the walls of the selected chamber.
SELF CLEANING ION GENERATOR DEVICE
