TUBE RACK OF CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR
There can be provided a tube rack of a centrifugal separator, in which a bottom rubber portion can be readily mounted and readily replaced, and yet such bottom rubber portion cannot be easily separated. The tube rack includes a holder (14) including a plurality of tube holes (12) each configured to accommodate a tube that is used for a sample and each includes an opening at one end portion of the holder serving as a tube insertion side, and an opening at a bottom portion of the holder that is at the other end. The tube rack includes a bottom rubber portion (15) including a plurality of bottom rubber members (25) each fits in the tube hole (12), and including connecting pieces (24). The tube rack includes a base (13) formed in a cylindrical shape having a bottom configured to accommodate and detachably hold the holder (14) and the bottom rubber portion (15), and to be inserted into a bucket of the centrifugal separator.
BUCKET FOR SWINGING ROTOR OF CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR
There can be provided a bucket for a swinging rotor of a centrifugal separator that can be readily carried while ensuring the sealability at the time of a centrifugal treatment or the carriage operation. The bucket includes a bucket body (11) in a bottomed cylindrical shape, a cover main body (21) (cover), a packing (22) (seal member), and a pair of attachment mechanisms (34) configured to detachably attach the cover main body (21) to the bucket body (11). The cover main body (21) includes a lid portion (24) having clip fixing portions (31) (pressed portions) and configured to cover an opening (11a) of the bucket body (11), and a handle portion (25) formed integrally with the lid portion (24). The handle portion (25) is stretched between the pair of clip fixing portions (31). A handle concave portion (36) (hole) that opens toward the outside of the cover main body (21) and separates the lid portion (24) and the handle portion (25) is formed between the lid portion (24) and the handle portion (25).
Adapter for a sample container of a centrifuge, adapter group and centrifuging system
Adapter for inserting a sample container in a centrifuge bucket, comprising a bucket-like base body, which delimits a cavity for accommodating the sample container and has a bottom region and an adjoining side wall region, the top edge of which defines an opening edge of the cavity, and an insertion opening, through which the sample container can be inserted in the cavity and which is delimited by the opening edge, at least one separation joint being present in the side wall region of the base body, which separation joint extends from the opening edge in the direction towards the bottom region and which allows for expanding the side wall region from a starting position (P1) to an expanded position (P2) by applying a force in such a way that the opening edge has a larger circumference as compared to the starting position (P1). The side wall area has two edge regions separated from each other by the separation joint, which at least in the starting position (P1) lie one above the other radially and overlap in the circumferential direction (U), thus forming an overlap region.
CENTRIFUGE AND SEGMENT HOLDER
A centrifuge (70) is provided with a cup (80) configured to house a blood bag system (10a) and centrifugally separates blood in the blood bag system (10a) by rotating the cup (80). The cup (80) has a segment holding section (86) capable of holding a plurality of segment tubes (44a), aligned in a parallel state by being folded at a sealing portion (44b) of an outlet-side tube (44), along a direction in which a centrifugal force acts during centrifugal processing or a direction inclined with respect to the direction in which the centrifugal force acts.
Centrifuge vessel assembly
The present invention relates to a centrifuge vessel assembly for use in a centrifuge, comprising a centrifuge vessel for holding a sample to be centrifuged, an adapter holding the centrifuge vessel, and a holding means holding the adapter for attaching the centrifuge vessel assembly to a rotor of the centrifuge, said centrifuge vessel having a vessel body and a sealable opening through which the sample to be centrifuged can be filled into said vessel, said vessel body having a cross-sectional area and a vessel height, said vessel height being oriented at right angles to said cross-sectional area, wherein said cross-sectional area is in the form of an oval cross-sectional area.
COMPACT REVERSE FLOW CENTRIFUGE SYSTEM
Provided is a chamber configuration for a reverse flow centrifuge, and a reverse flow centrifuge system configured for low fluid volume and small radius rotation. The compact reverse flow centrifuge system has a reusable subsystem and a single use replaceable subsystem. The replaceable subsystem comprises a separation chamber, fluid delivery manifold and rotational mounting connecting the separation chamber to the fluid manifold. The single use replaceable subsystem provides a closed environment for execution of reverse flow centrifugation processes. The separation chamber has a substantially conical fluid enclosure portion connected to a neck portion, and a dip tube extends centrally through the conical fluid enclosure to provide a fluid path to the tip of the conical fluid enclosure.
