Spray nozzle
Provided is a spray nozzle configured so that the angle of spray does not change even if the flow rate of liquid is adjusted largely. A circular conical primary hole narrowing toward the discharge-side front end is provided in a communicating manner at the discharge-side center of a primary flow passage extending along the center axis of a nozzle body, and a pair of secondary holes is provided on both sides of the primary hole in the width direction so as to communicate with the primary flow passage and the primary hole. The secondary holes are formed in an elongated shape, and portions of the long sides of the secondary holes on both sides, the portions facing each other across the primary hole, and both side portions of the primary hole are connected.
FLUID SPRAY TIPS HAVING SECURING ELEMENTS FORMED IN THE FLUID SPRAY TIP BODY AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A spray tip includes a tip body having a longitudinal axis and a receiving channel extending between a front and back of the tip body transverse to the longitudinal axis. The spray tip further includes a tip piece, a pre-orifice element, and a sealing element between the tip piece and the pre-orifice element, at least the tip piece and the sealing element disposed in the receiving channel, the tip piece defining a first portion of a fluid channel extending from an inlet to an outlet. The spray tip further includes a first securing element downstream of at least a portion of the tip piece and the sealing element and a second securing element upstream of at least a portion of the sealing element and the tip piece, the first securing element and the second securing element securing at least the tip piece and the sealing element within the receiving channel.
FOAM NOZZLE SPREADER TIP
Disclosed herein is an article used as a foam nozzle spreader tip. The article is brass or stainless steel and has a first surface, a hollow space removed from the first surface, first and second screw holes through the article and the first surface but not touching the hollow space, and a third screw hole through the article touching the hollow space. The hollow space has a half-cylinder region and a rounded trapezoidal prism region.
Airflow-direction adjustment device
The present invention is a spray nozzle including a nozzle having a supply port receiving liquid and a spray orifice through which liquid is sprayed, wherein the nozzle is made by combining a plurality of nozzle-divided bodies, each of the plurality of nozzle-divided bodies having a vane element integrally formed therein to rotate the liquid provided from the supply port.
Fan spray structure for use in dispensing actuator
An improvement is provided in an actuator for actuating a valve on a container for dispensing a fluent product from the container in a fan spray pattern. The actuator includes a dispensing flow path to direct fluent product from the valve to an exterior of the actuator via an exit orifice located at an end of the flow path, and a post defining a portion of the flow path, the post extending along and centered on a longitudinal axis and having an end face adjacent said exit orifice. The improvement includes a flow channel extending laterally across the end face of the post, the flow channel being symmetric about a lateral axis extending transverse to the longitudinal axis of the post, a portion of the flow channel directly communicating with said exit orifice to direct the fluent product from the flow channel into the exit orifice.
METHOD FOR COATING MICROSTRUCTURED COMPONENTS
The invention relates to a method for the surface modification of microstructured components having a polar surface, in particular for high-pressure applications. According to said method, a microstructured component is contacted, in particular treated, with a modification reagent, the surface properties of said component being modified by chemical and/or physical interaction of the component surface and of the modification reagent.
STACKED PRE-ORIFICES FOR SPRAYER NOZZLES
A multiple pre-orifice apparatus for a sprayer nozzle body with an upper end connected to a liquid source, a nozzle tip releasably mounted at a lower end thereof, and a channel between the upper and lower ends of the nozzle body. The apparatus comprises a sleeve assembly comprising a sleeve closed at an upper portion thereof by a top orifice plate defining a top orifice, and closed at a lower portion thereof by a bottom orifice plate defining a bottom orifice such that a sleeve turbulence chamber is formed between the top and bottom orifice plates. The sleeve assembly is secured in the channel such that a nozzle turbulence chamber is formed between the bottom orifice plate and the nozzle tip. The area of the flow opening in the nozzle tip is greater than the area of the top orifice which is greater than the area of the bottom orifice.
FILTER JET-DIRECTOR UNIT AND HIGH-PRESSURE NOZZLE UNIT
A filter jet-director unit for a high-pressure nozzle for descaling metal products, having a housing, wherein the housing has an entry filter, a connector end for connecting to a nozzle, a flow duct between the entry filter and the connector end, and a jet director having flow-guiding faces in the flow duct. The flow-guiding faces of the jet director at least in portions are disposed in the region of the entry filter.
Apparatus for dispersing particles in a fluid
An apparatus for dispersing particles in a fluid, comprising: a flow divider for receiving the fluid and for separating the fluid into a first fluid stream and a second fluid stream; first and second fluid branches for receiving the fluid streams; a branch joining section for receiving the fluid streams, the branch joining section having a collision zone for allowing the first and second fluid streams to collide; a first nozzle that is arranged in the first fluid branch; and a second nozzle is arranged in the second fluid branch, the first nozzle comprising an orifice that is followed by a fluid diverging section.
HAND SHOWER WITH POWER WASH
A hand shower can include: an inlet portion for connecting the hand shower to a water supply; a handle portion; a shower head portion attached to the handle portion, the shower head portion comprising a shower face, a back face opposite the shower face, and an edge face on an end portion of the shower head portion that extends from the shower face to the back face and is opposite the inlet portion; a first outlet portion of the shower head located on the shower face, the first outlet portion is configured to direct a shower spray in a first direction; and a second outlet portion of the shower head located on the edge face, the second outlet portion is configured to direct a power wash spray in a second direction different from the first direction for cleaning hard surfaces.
