20200346237 · 2020-11-05 ·

A pressure regulator for use in a sprinkler assembly including a riser and a sprinkler basket includes an outer sleeve mounted in the riser at an inlet thereof and a pressure responsive member, movably mounted in the outer sleeve and movable from an open position allowing flow of water between the top surface of the filter basket and the bottom edge of the pressure responsive member and up the riser and a closed position where the bottom edge of the pressure responsive member contacts the top surface of the filter basket to prevent water from flowing. The pressure responsive member is biased in the open position and moves into the closed position when downstream water pressure exceeds a predetermined value.

ADJUSTABLE NOZZLE ASSEMBLY OR NOZZLE ATTACHMENT FOR A LIQUID-FILLED SPRAYER

A nozzle adapter for a manually adjustable liquid spray nozzle and which includes features that facilitate use and protects the user from possible fluid exposure. The nozzle adapter includes a bell-shaped feature that funnels any liquid dripping from the end of the nozzle away from the user, and further includes a series of drip edges, dams, and liquid pathways that further divert any leaked liquids away from the user. Finally, the adapter includes a user touch point for adjusting the spray pattern of the nozzle that is positioned radially outwardly a greater distance than the nozzle outlet to further enhance the protective properties of the nozzle adapter.

ROTARY STRIP NOZZLES AND DEFLECTORS
20200276598 · 2020-09-03 ·

Rotary nozzles are provided that produce multiple discrete water streams for the irrigation of a substantially rectangular irrigation area. The nozzles may be designed to function as one of a left corner strip nozzle, right corner strip nozzle, and side strip nozzle. Each nozzle includes a particular type of nozzle housing with multiple flow channels oriented to irrigate a rectangular area in a certain position relative to the nozzle. The side strip nozzle includes one or more groups of two flow channels that are asymmetric with respect to one another. Further, each nozzle includes a deflector that rotates in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, depending on the position of the rectangular irrigation area relative to the nozzle. By matching deflector rotation with the position of the rectangular irrigation area, the uniformity of irrigation within the rectangular irrigation area can be increased.

Control device for fuel injection device

Provided is a control device of a fuel injection device which can stabilize a behavior of a valve even when a voltage of a voltage source varies, and can reduce a deviation of an injection amount. The fuel injection device includes a valve and a coil which generates a magnetic attraction force to attract a movable element which drives the valve. A control device applies a predetermined voltage to the coil on the basis of an injection pulse, causes a drive current to flow to the coil until the drive current reaches a maximum current, drives the valve by attracting the movable element, and injects fuel. The drive current flowing to the coil is lowered from the maximum current before the valve reaches a desired maximum lift position, and a constant voltage lower than a predetermined voltage or 0 V is continuously applied to the coil until the valve reaches the desired maximum lift position.

ROTARY SPRINKLER FOR VARYING IRRIGATION PATTERN
20200070186 · 2020-03-05 ·

A rotary sprinkler comprises a rotatable irrigation head with one or more nozzles, associated with liquid feed lines, which extend thereto from a sprinkler base housing, and further comprises a static biasing control base located below the irrigation head, e.g. between the sprinkler base housing and the irrigation head. The sprinkler can comprise a flow regulator arm, whose movement, at least indirectly, results in reducing the cross-sectional area of liquid flow towards at least one of the nozzles, and a flow deflector arm configured to interfere with a liquid jet discharged from at least one of the nozzles in order to affect the angle and range of the liquid jet. The static biasing control base can comprise an array of biasing elements, which can bias a cam follower configured to rotate together with the irrigation head and transfer its rotational displacement to the flow regulator arm and flow deflector arm, e.g. through respective gear elements. The gear elements can be adjusted to control a ratio between the extent of deflection of the two arms due to the rotation of the cam follower. The rotatable irrigation head can comprise a cover for preventing exposure of the dynamic control elements to the exterior of the sprinkler.

Material supply system with valve assembly

A material supply assembly includes a valve assembly having an outer valve member and an inner valve member rotatable relative to the outer valve member. A base assembly includes an base structure and an actuator. An engagement structure is operative between the outer valve member and the actuator to prevent relative movement between the outer valve member and the actuator. A locking structure is operative between the inner valve member and the base structure to prevent relative movement between the inner valve member and the base structure. Movement of the actuator relative to the base structure moves the outer valve member relative to the inner valve member to operate the valve assembly.

ADJUSTABLE ARC OF COVERAGE CONE NOZZLE ROTARY STREAM SPRINKLER
20200030830 · 2020-01-30 ·

A cone valve assembly including an upper valve member with a conical top portion and a stepped and spiraled top surface and a lower valve member including a central opening with a stepped and spiraled valve surface surrounding the central opening. The upper valve member is mounted in the lower valve member such that the lower valve member is rotatable and axially movable relative to the upper valve member. Rotation of the lower valve member allows for the adjustment of an arcuate slot opening that provides a conically shaped discharge stream of water from the cone valve nozzle assembly directly onto the rotating distributor to provide the desired arc of sprinkler coverage.

Self sealing and cleaning nozzle

In one embodiment, a self-cleaning nozzle comprises a nozzle body, a sleeve surrounding a proximal end of the nozzle body, a pillar disposed within the nozzle body and a spring. The nozzle body may have a hollow cylindrical interior. The nozzle body may include an orifice formed in a distal end of the nozzle body, a shoulder formed on a proximal end of the nozzle body, and a first bearing surface on an outer lateral face of the shoulder. The sleeve may include a second bearing surface on an inner face of the sleeve and a retaining lip formed at a distal end of the sleeve. The retaining lip may define a distal end of an annular space between the sleeve and the nozzle body. The shoulder may define a proximal end of the annular space. The pillar may have a distal tip configured to interface with the orifice, thereby forming a liquid seal. The spring may be captured within the annular space, thereby biasing the distal tip of the pillar into contact with the orifice.
