SHOTCRETE NOZZLE ASSEMBLY AND STREAM CONTROLLING DEVICE THEREFOR
A shotcrete nozzle assembly comprising: a tubular body operatively connectable to a concrete source, the tubular body including a stream controlling section for controlling a stream of fresh concrete projected from an outlet body end, the stream controlling section including at least one helicoidal conduit defined within the body sidewall, each helicoidal conduit extending helicoidally around a central conduit between an air inlet end operatively connectable to a pressurized air source and an air outlet end located towards the outlet body end, each helicoidal conduit being twisted around the central passageway to guide pressurized air exiting through the air outlet end along an helicoidal path extending away from the outlet body end and around the stream of fresh concrete exiting the outlet body end.
Remote monitoring for fluid applicator system
In one embodiment, a remote monitoring system for a fluid applicator system is disclosed. The fluid applicator system is disposed to heat and pump spray fluid, and to transmit reports including sensed temperatures, pressures, and other operational parameters of the fluid applicator system via a wireless network. The remote monitoring system comprises a data storage server, and an end user interface. The data storage server is configured to receive and archive the reports. The end user interface is configured to provide a graphical user interface based on the reports. The graphical user interface illustrates a status of the fluid handling system, sensed and commanded temperatures of the fluid handling system, sensed and commanded pressures of the fluid handling system, and usage statistics of the fluid handling system.
SPRAY DEVICE AND SPRAY SYSTEM
A spray device includes a converging assembly, a container and a suction pipe. The converging assembly includes a first liquid channel, a second liquid channel, a first air channel and a second air channel. The first liquid channel and the first air channel communicate with an inlet of the second liquid channel. The second air channel communicates with the container. An end of the suction pipe communicates with the inlet of the second liquid channel, and another end is submerged in a solution in the container. When a liquid flows from the first liquid channel to the second liquid channel, air in the first liquid channel is discharged via the first air channel, the solution is sucked to the second liquid channel through the suction pipe, the solution and the liquid are mixed at the inlet of the second liquid channel, and then are sprayed from the second liquid channel.
Fire suppression nozzle, nozzle assembly, and method for C6-based solution
A fire suppression nozzle assembly includes a spray-type nozzle for spraying a fire suppression fluid. The spray-type nozzle includes a body portion defining a passage extending longitudinally through the body portion for conveying the fire suppression fluid. The spray-type nozzle also includes a deflector portion coupled to the body portion and configured to spray the fire suppression fluid onto a fire suppression target area using a radial spray pattern.
Production, composition and application of preparations in a two-chamber application device for neutralizing and inactivating oxidizing, caustic and irritating chemicals on the skin
A device and protective composition is described that is used in the context of first aid for skin contact with acids, bases, oxidizing agents, formaldehyde and fluorides serving to neutralize and inactivate the chemicals. The device comprises a two-chamber applicator that contains a first preparation in a first chamber, such as an antioxidant, and a second preparation in a second chamber, such as a solution that contains a buffer and a calcium salt. The two preparations are mixed just before application and are applied to the affected areas by the device.
DISPENSING NOZZLE HAVING A TUBULAR EXIT ZONE COMPRISING VANES
A nozzle and a process suitable for dispensing liquid foamable products, particularly useful with carbon dioxide blowing agents, the nozzle comprising a tubular exit zone having an inlet and an outlet; the tubular exit zone having an inner wall surface defining a passageway for dispensing having a centerline axis; the tubular exit zone further having a plurality of vanes attached to the inner wall surface parallel to the centerline axis with the vanes extending radially into the passageway for dispensing; the vanes having a length dimension that is the distance the vane contacts the inner wall surface parallel to the centerline axis, a thickness dimension that is the effective thickness of the vane at the inner wall surface perpendicular to the centerline axis, and a width dimension being the distance from the inner wall surface that the vane extends into the passageway for dispensing; and wherein the vanes do not connect or touch at the centerline of the passageway for dispensing.
Sprayable Sealant for Aircraft Parts and Assemblies
Applicant discloses a two part polymer mix for use in the aircraft industry that is applied with pneumatic mix and spray gun. A two part cartridge is used in the mix and spray gun so the mix is applied immediately upon mixing, but the two components are kept separated unless the gun is applying the mix. The mix cures to form a clear sealant that allows for inspection of cracks and corrosion beneath the sealant. It cures quickly so that the coated part may be further processed, for example in the assembly line during aircraft build.
Fluid dispensing device
The invention pertains generally to an improved fluid dispensing device, particularly a dispensing device which employs at least one hemispherical domed cannister source of reactants and which uses a color-changing dispensing plastic tip to inform the end-user if the reactants are at a proper use temperature.
Foam dispensing gun with third stream
A two-component spray gun is illustrated that utilizes a third stream for dispensing at least some, and in some instances all, of the requisite foam precursor reactants and/or blowing agents in combination with the “A” and “B” reactant streams.
PLURAL COMPONENT SPRAY GUN SYSTEM
A spray gun for a plural component system is provided. The spray gun includes a first component delivery line and a second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes a nozzle, configured to receive and mix a first component received from the first component delivery line with a second component received from the second component delivery line. The spray gun also includes an air purge system configured to, when the spray gun is in a non-actuated position, purge the nozzle of the first and second components and, when the spray gun is in an actuated position, aid in atomization of the mixture of the first and second components.
