MONITORING MODULE FOR SPRAYERS
The present invention relates to the application of plant protection agents, fertilisers and/or pesticides by means of a (preferably portable) sprayer or a small appliance (such as, for example, a bicycle tyre sealant injector). The present invention relates to a monitoring module with which existing sprayers can be equipped in order to control, track and/or document the spraying process. The present invention further relates to a method, a system and a computer program product for monitoring spraying processes.
DRY FOGGING SYSTEM
A dry fogging system includes a control device including a control device inlet configured to couple to a gas source, a first control device outlet, and a second control device outlet configured to couple to a first tank. The dry fogging system further includes a first spray device including a first spray device inlet configured to couple to the first tank, a second spray device inlet configured to couple to the first control device outlet, and a spray device outlet configured to provide dry fogging.
BACKPACK SPRAYER
A backpack sprayer includes a housing, a spray nozzle assembly, a fan assembly and a switch assembly. The housing is configured to contain a liquid. The spray nozzle assembly is communicated with the housing, and is configured to spray the liquid out from the housing. The fan assembly is connected to the spray nozzle assembly, and is configured to provide the spray nozzle assembly with power to spray the liquid out from the housing. The switch assembly is connected to the spray nozzle assembly and electrically connected to the fan assembly, and is configured to control opening and closing of the spray nozzle assembly and start and shutdown of the fan assembly simultaneously.
LIQUID SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SPRAYING
A liquid spray system (100) comprises a housing (110), a spray applicator (120) and an air pressurising device (130). The housing (110) comprises a retaining section (140) to receive a receptacle (200), the receptacle (200) comprising a flexible body (201, 202) having a reservoir (204) comprising a liquid for spraying, and a liquid outlet (205) in fluid communication with the reservoir (204). The retaining section (140) also comprises a receptacle compressor (170) configured to apply a compressive force to the flexible body (201, 202) to force liquid from the liquid outlet (205) of the receptacle (200). The spray applicator (120) is disposed remotely from the housing and in fluid communication with the liquid outlet of the receptacle (200). The air pressurising device (130) is in fluid communication with the spray applicator (120) to propel the liquid from the spray applicator (120).
BACKPACK PAINT SPRAYER
The backpack paint sprayer comprises a backpack, a spray gun, and a hose assembly. The backpack paint sprayer may be a portable spray-painting system. The backpack may carry a supply of paint which may be pumped from the backpack to the spray gun via the hose assembly. A turbine located within the spray gun may create an air stream that may atomize the paint and may disperse the paint over a surface being painted. The backpack may be adapted to be worn by a user and may enable the user to move about without being constrained by a paint supply hose coupled between the spray gun and a compressor.
Blower spray device
A blower spray device is provided having a housing which comprises an electrically driven blower and a spray nozzle, and having a liquid supply line opening into the spray nozzle. The housing has a funnel-shaped intake channel and a tubular blow-out channel, and an electrical valve is provided in the liquid supply line to activate and deactivate the liquid supply to the spray nozzle. An electronic controller having a regulating unit for the electric blower is further provided to adjust the air flow velocity.
Wide angle spray nozzle
A spray nozzle is disclosed that includes a nozzle body having a first portion with a cylindrical configuration and a second portion including a dome-shaped end wall. The first and second portions of the nozzle body define an internal fluid passage having a downstream end defined by the dome-shaped end wall. A flow control element is arranged at an inlet end of the internal fluid passage. The flow control element includes a pre-orifice through which fluid can enter the internal fluid passage of the nozzle body. First and second discharge orifices are provided in the dome-shaped end wall with each of the first and second discharge orifices being arranged on a respective one of opposing sides of an apex of the dome-shaped end wall. The first and second discharge orifices are configured to produce a fan-shaped fluid discharge pattern with each discharge orifice having an elongated slit-like configuration.
LIQUID SPRAY ASSEMBLY AND COMPATIBLE LIQUID FORMULATIONS
A liquid spray assembly (la) comprises a liquid spray apparatus and a liquid, for example a paint. The spray apparatus comprises a reservoir (100) for the coating liquid, a spray applicator (300), and means for urging liquid from the reservoir (100) to the spray applicator (300). At the outlet of the spray applicator (300) the liquid is atomised by a flow of primary pressurised gas; and downstream the atomised spray profile is modified by a flow of secondary pressurised gas. It has been determined that the effective use of this type of spray apparatus can be achieved by using a particular class of coating liquids, which have a defined solids content, viscosity and amount of an organic or organically modified thickener, of which over 50 wt% is an organic or organically modified associative thickener. A method of using the liquid spray apparatus is also described.
SPRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SPRAYING
A liquid spray system (1e) and method of using a liquid spray system is shown. The spray system (1e) comprises a receptacle (100e) for holding liquid to be sprayed, a support structure (200e) for supporting the receptacle (100e), a spray applicator (300e) disposed remotely from the support structure (200e) and an air pressurising device for driving the liquid out of the receptacle (100e) and for mixing with the liquid at an outlet of the spray applicator (300e). Advantageously, the spray system (1e) is compact and versatile.
TOOL FOR POWERED SPRAYER
The present disclosure is directed to a tool for operating a nozzle holder. The nozzle holder is configured to couple a spray nozzle to a spray device, and includes an outer ring movable between a holding position and a release position. The nozzle holder is configured to securely hold the spray nozzle when the outer ring is in the holding position, and release the spray nozzle when the outer ring is in the release position. The tool includes an elongated body including a first end that defines an annular rim and a pocket that communicates with the annular rim. The annular rim is configured to selectively engage the outer ring to move the outer ring from the holding position to the release position. The elongated body also includes a second end that defines a recess configured to selectively receive and hold a portion of the spray nozzle.
