Handheld texture spray gun with hopper
A sprayer includes a spray gun and a hopper. An air source provides compressed air to the sprayer to both eject fluid from the spray gun as a spray and to pressurize the hopper. The spray gun includes passages for providing compressed air to the nozzle for spraying and to the hopper for pressurizing the hopper. The spray gun further includes a relief valve for venting pressurized air from the hopper. The hopper receives the compressed air through a port in the hopper, and the compressed air assists the flow of material out of the hopper and into the spray gun.
SPRAY GUN, PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE FOR A SPRAY GUN AND METHOD FOR DEVELOPING A SPRAY GUN
A spray gun, in particular a pressurised air atomisation paint spray gun, in particular a hand-held pressurised air atomisation paint spray gun has at least one material nozzle for discharging a material to be sprayed, at least one air nozzle for outputting air, in particular air for atomising a material to be sprayed, air for changing the shape of a spray jet, and/or air for transporting an atomised spraying medium, and at least one air chamber, in particular an air chamber adjoining the air nozzle or at least one air outlet opening of the air nozzle in the upstream direction, for supplying the air nozzle with air. The spray gun also has at least one device for inputting and/or adjusting and/or detecting and/or determining and/or displaying the air pressure in the air chamber during operation of the spray gun.
LOW VISCOSITY POLISH SYSTEMS FOR ROBOTIC REPAIR OPERATIONS
A low viscosity polish kit for a robotic repair unit. The kit includes a sealed container containing a low viscosity polish. The sealed container has a coupling mechanism. The kit also includes a connector configured to couple to the coupling mechanism, on a first end, and to a dispenser of a robotic repair unit, on a second end. The sealed container and the connector are single-use articles.
ROBOTIC REPAR SYSTEMS AND METHOD
A fluid dispensing system for a robotic repair unit that includes a fluid container. The system also includes a fluid dispenser associated with a robotic repair unit. The system also contains a fluid coupler that connects the polish container to the polish dispenser. The system also contains a mounting mechanism configured to couple the polish container to a robotic repair unit.
SPRAY GUN CONVERTER
Various embodiments of a spray gun converter (100) and a spray gun system that includes such converter (100) are disclosed. The spray gun converter (100) includes a body (102) having a first end (104) configured for insertion into an air passage of a spray gun (11), a second end (106) having a converter fitting (108) configured for connection to a reservoir (30), and a reservoir air passage (110) extending through the body (102) from an inlet end (112) at the first end to an outlet end (114) on the converter fitting (108) at the second end. The spray gun converter (100) also includes a reservoir air control valve (116) that opens and closes the reservoir air passage (110).
PAINT CUP WITH VENTILATION VALVE
A paint cup for a paint spray gun includes a paint container which has a container wall and a base. The base is made of a natural fibrous material, in particular a cellulose-based fibrous material, so as to be pierceable and has a piercing point or region in order to ventilate the paint cup. In a method for using the paint cup with a base which is made of a natural fibrous material, the base is pierced in order to form a ventilation valve.
Liquid supply assembly
A connector system for a liquid container system for a spray gun includes a lid that includes a liquid outlet and an adapter. The adapter includes a spray gun end and a lid end. The ends are connected with a liquid-tight passageway. Further, the spray gun end is adapted for releasable engagement with a liquid inlet port of the spray gun and the lid end is adapted for releasable engagement with the liquid outlet. The connector system also includes a plurality of interlocking tab assemblies for releasably attaching the adapter to the lid. Each assembly includes a first tab and a second tab, wherein an end of the first tab is adapted to secure the adapter to the lid when the first tab and the second tab are interlocked.
LIQUID DISCHARGE DEVICE
The present invention refers to a device for the discharge of a pressurised liquid comprising: a liquid intake section (2400), a liquid discharge lance (2300), a pump (2200), which can be connected to a motor (2100), the pump having an inlet connected to the intake section and an outlet connected to the discharge lance, where the discharge lance and the pump are connected by a connection (2800, 2801, 2802, 2803, 2804), with at most three rotational degrees of freedom and/or one translational degree of freedom.
FLUID DELIVERY ASSEMBLY FOR A SPRAYING APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a fluid delivery assembly for a spraying apparatus. The assembly comprises an outer cup, a lid having a fluid outlet adapted to couple the lid to the spraying apparatus, and a liner for holding paint. The fluid delivery assembly comprises an interlocking keyed geometry adapted to prevent rotation of at least one of the lid and the liner with respect to the cup. The interlocking keyed geometry comprises at least one of (a) at least one protrusion of the cup extending into at least one recess of the lid, and (b) at least one protrusion of the lid extending into at least one recess of the cup, wherein the liner is trapped between the protrusion and the recess. The invention also relates to liners for such fluid delivery assemblies, which may be provided as a set of liners having different inners volumes.
PAINT CUP MADE OF NATURAL FIBROUS MATERIAL
A paint cup for a paint spray gun includes a paint container which has an opening and comprises a container wall and a lid which closes the opening. A coupling section of the container wall is arranged in a liquid-tight manner between a first and a second clamping surface of a lid system comprising the lid. The container wall is made of a natural fibrous material, in particular a cellulose-based fibrous material. In a method for sealingly closing such a paint cup, the coupling section is radially and/or axially clamped upon sealingly connecting the lid and the container wall made of natural fibrous material.
