In accordance with certain embodiments, the spray gun includes a fluid delivery tip assembly comprising an inner passage, a hollow needle disposed within the inner passage of the fluid delivery tip assembly, wherein the hollow needle comprises at least two indentions along an outer circumferential surface of the hollow needle near an end of the hollow needle, a first passage configured to deliver a first spray fluid to a fluid tip exit of the fluid delivery tip assembly, wherein the first passage is defined by a volume between the fluid delivery tip assembly and the hollow needle, and a second passage through the hollow needle, wherein the second passage is configured to deliver a second spray fluid to the fluid tip exit of the fluid delivery tip assembly.
DISPENSER FOR TWO-COMPONENT SPRAY POLYURETHANE FORM THAT ARE FREE OF GASEOUS BLOWING AGENTS
A dispenser comprises a housing defining at least three feed channels, a spool valve with a spool defining at least three flow passages, a deformable sealing plug in at least two of the feed channels and in sealing orientation with both the housing and the spool, and a nipple in at least the two feed channels of the housing comprising sealing plugs; wherein the spool can reversibly rotate between an open orientation and a closed orientation can dispense two-component form formulations that are free of gaseous blowing agents.
MODULAR COATING UNIT AND METHOD FOR COATING PLASTIC COMPONENTS
A method for coating plastic components of a motor vehicle. A modular coating unit is provided having a first coating module for coating at least one workpiece composed of plastic. A second module for the preparation of the coating material may be provided in the coating unit. The completed coating material to be applied is mixed from a base material composed of non-volatile components from a first container, to which solvent or water from a second container and concentrated colour pigments and/or effect pigments from third containers may be admixed in the module for the preparation of the coating materials.
SYSTEMS FOR APPLYING ROADWAY SURFACE TREATMENTS, AND METHODS OF USING SAME
Systems and methods for applying roadway surface treatments. The system has an aggregate application assembly and a resin application assembly that are mounted or otherwise secured to a truck or other vehicle. The resin application assembly is spaced from the aggregate application assembly in the direction of travel of the vehicle. As the vehicle moves along a roadway surface, the resin and aggregate can be continuously applied such that the aggregate is provided to portions of the roadway surface that have been covered with resin.
Fluid through needle for applying multiple component material
Embodiments of a spray gun incorporating a needle for applying multiple component materials are provided.
Mix chamber for a plural component sprayer
A mix chamber for a plural component sprayer is configured to receive first and second component materials and emit a spray of a resulting plural component material. The mix chamber includes a chamber body extending between a first end and a second end and including flat lateral sides. A ramp feature is disposed proximate the first end and is configured to contact and push first and second side seals, respectively, away from a body axis as the mix chamber shifts in a first direction through a cartridge bore to increase a gap between the first side seal and the second side seal such that the first side seal engages the first flat lateral side and the second side seal engages the second flat lateral side.
Fluid delivery system
A fluid delivery system includes a conduit. The conduit is configured to deliver a fluid. The conduit further includes a first electrically conductive element configured to deliver electricity through a length of the conduit. The fluid delivery system further includes master hub disposed on a fluid delivery device. The fluid delivery system also includes at least one slave hub disposed on the conduit and communicatively coupled to the master hub.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR FOAM AIR MIXING
A nozzle assembly includes a nozzle housing (86) defining an inner chamber (91) and a mixer (90) disposed within the inner chamber. The nozzle housing includes a nozzle housing and a nozzle orifice. The nozzle receive is configured to connect to a sprayer housing and to receive a first material, a second material, and air. The nozzle orifice is configured to spray a plural component material formed by a mixture of the first material and the second material. The mixer includes a shaft (92), an extension (94), an air channel, and inlet orifice formed in a first end of the shaft, and an outlet orifice formed between the air channel and a surface of the shaft. The extension defines a mixing channel extending between the shaft and the inner surface of the housing and the air channel is defined by an inner surface of the shaft and extends partially axially through the shaft.
PLURAL COMPONENT MATERIAL DISPENSING SYSTEM
A plural component system includes a first pump configured to pump a first constituent material to an applicator and a second pump configured to pump a second constituent material to the applicator. A controller is operatively connected to the first pump and the second pump to control operation of the first pump and the second pump to pump the first and second constituent materials to the applicator at a desired ratio.
Hybrid spray pump
Provided is a hybrid spray pump which sprays and applies a viscous liquid in a fine particle state to a material. The hybrid spray pump sprays effectively fine particles of the viscous liquid according to various characteristics of the viscous liquid ranging from low to high viscosity, and improves the quality of a particle application process by mixing fine particles and aerosol particles by spraying.
