Systems and methods for suppressing vaporization of a volatile fluid dispensed from a pressure vessel are provided. The system includes an evaporator coupled in thermal communication with a first flow of volatile fluid from the vessel and in fluid communication with a second flow of volatile fluid from the vessel. The evaporator includes at least one channel for channeling the second flow of volatile fluid therethrough. A metering valve is coupled in fluid communication with the channel and between the evaporator and the vessel. In addition, the system includes a compressor coupled in fluid communication with and downstream from the at least one channel. Moreover, the system includes a return line coupled in fluid communication with an outlet of the compressor. The compressor is configured to compress the second flow of volatile fluid and channel the compressed second flow of volatile fluid to the pressure vessel via the return line.

SPRAYER DEVICE WITH AEROSOL FUNCTIONALITY ("FLAIROSOL")

In exemplary embodiments of the present invention, Flair® based aerosol-type devices can be provided. Such devices utilize a combination of Flair® technology, pre-compression valves and aerosol like pressurization of the dispensed liquid. Such a dispensing device has a main body comprising a pressure chamber, the latter being provided with a pressure piston and a pressure spring. The device further has a piston and a piston chamber which draws liquid from a reservoir and fills the pressure chamber with that liquid as a user operates the trigger in various compression and release strokes. The piston chamber has both an inlet valve and an outlet valve. In a dispensing head a valve is provided to regulate the strength of the flow and preclude leakage. Once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, it can be dispensed by a user opening an activation valve, such as by pressing on an activation button, and spray can be abruptly stopped by a user ceasing to push on such button. Or, for example, in alternate embodiments without an activation button, once the liquid is sufficiently pressurized, continuous spray occurs until the pressure chamber is emptied. By repeatedly pumping the trigger before the pressure chamber is fully emptied, continuous spray can be achieved. By designing the input volume to be amply greater than the volume of the pressure chamber, continuous spray with fewer pumping strokes can be implemented.

Spray gun system

A portable, self-contained, hand-held, spray gun system having spray gun with a handle, barrel, trigger, and an interchangeable cartridge containing a sprayable substance which may flow from the cartridge under pressure through a portion of the barrel past a selectively positionable needle valve and out an exit orifice of a nozzle when the trigger is squeezed allowing a user to spray the pressurized contents of the vessel over a selected surface and stop such spraying activity by releasing the trigger all without the need for a separate power source or motorized compressor.

Liquid dispensing reservoir

This invention provides for a device and methods of dispensing a precise predetermined volume of liquid of discrete drops, vapor, or mist while preventing contamination due to Pull Back and ensuring precision dispensing.

Automatic fluid dispenser

A motion-activated dispenser includes a housing having a base and top defining a gap sized to receive a human hand. The top portion defining cavity sized to receive a fluid reservoir and an opening extending directly through a lower surface of the top portion to the cavity, a neck of the fluid reservoir extending through the opening. A pressing member is positioned within the cavity and an actuator is coupled to the pressing member and configured to urge the pressing member toward and away from the opening. The pressing member may include, for example, a sliding member positioned opposite a stop face; a roller moved by the actuator toward the opening; a plunger positioned above the opening and driven by an actuator toward the opening; or a pair of rods spanning the cavity and urged by the actuator through the cavity, the rods pressing against sides of the reservoir.

FLUID-PRODUCT DISPENSER

A fluid dispenser comprising:

a reservoir (1);

a dispenser head (T) that is provided with a dispenser orifice (62);

a dip tube (22) that conveys the fluid from the reservoir (1) to the dispenser head (T);

a pusher (6) that is axially movable over a determined stroke;

an electric pump (4) that delivers air into the reservoir (1) so as to force the fluid through the dip tube (22) as far as the dispenser head (T), the electric pump (4) being actuated by the pusher (6); and

a fluid outlet valve (7);

the fluid dispenser being characterized in that:

all of the air coming from the electric pump is delivered into the reservoir;

the electric pump (4) is activated by the pusher (6) as soon as it leaves its high rest position, and the outlet valve (7) is opened only in the proximity of the low depressed position, such that the electric pump (4) is electrically powered well before the outlet valve (7) is opened; and

the electric pump (4) delivers air into the reservoir (1) with an increase in pressure that is less than 1 Bar.

BACKPACK PERSONAL DEFENSE MATERIAL DISPENSER

A backpack material dispenser that includes a pumpless pressure tank for storing and discharging a material under pressure contained in the pressure tank and a hose and a shut off valve connected to an output opening of the pressure tank for allowing flow of the material from the pressure tank under pressure and through a nozzle communicating with a discharge end of the hose. A discharge valve communicates with the nozzle proximate the hose for allowing controlled discharge of the material from the nozzle. A backpack assembly mounts the pressure tank for being carried by a user. A charging tank contains a gas under pressure to charge the pressure tank to a predetermined pressure, and a releasable connector of the charging tank attaches to a complementary connector of the pressure tank for charging the pressure tank with the gas under pressure to the suitable pressure tank pressure.

Manual check valve for priming a collapsible fluid liner for a sprayer
09796492 · 2017-10-24 · ·

A manual check valve for use when priming a fluid supply for a spray gun includes an orifice that opens from the fluid supply into a storage chamber, the storage chamber captures any fluid that is expelled from the fluid supply during priming, and the storage chamber is sealed with a closure. Sealing the storage chamber traps any expelled fluid in the storage chamber and prevents any of the expelled fluid from leaking onto another surface, which keeps the priming operation clean.

BATTERY POWERED FLUID SPRAYER

A battery powered fluid sprayer includes a battery mounted to a vertically extending wall of the fluid sprayer. The battery powers an electric motor to power a pump to pump fluid to a spray gun for spraying. The battery is disposed within a battery chamber enclosed by a door. The battery is suspended above a base of the battery chamber to isolate battery from any fluid that may enter the chamber.
