BFS-FFS DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING A SUBSTANCE TO A BODY CAVITY
The present invention provides methods and a BFS/FFS system for delivering either one or more substances within at least one body cavity, characterized by a vial comprising V.sub.sub [ml] of said substances; said vail selected from a pierceable container, a blow-fill-seal and a form-fill-seal, having fluid inlet and a fluid discharging outlet of diameter D [mm], configured for placement in proximity to said body cavity; said fluid inlet configured by means of size and shape to interface in a sealable manner a puncturing member, configured to, upon coupling to said fluid inlet, piercing the same, thereby providing said substances in a fluid communication, via a valve, with a chamber configured to accept pressurized fluid at volume V.sub.PF [ml] and pressure P.sub.PF [barg]; said valve is commutable from an CLOSE to an OPEN CONFIGURATION within a short period of time, <500 milliseconds (dT); at said OPEN CONFIGURATION, said pressurized fluid flows from said chamber, via said fluid inlet, entrains said substances by one of the followings: (i) one portion m.sup.V.sub.PF/n, n=portion (%, v/v), m=1, (ii) a plurality of portions, m.sup.V.sub.PF/n, m2, or (iii) the whole V.sub.PF, n,m=1 erupts via said fluid discharging outlet to within said body cavity.
ATTACHABLE WIND DETECTION DEVICE
A wind detection device with a flexible enclosure, and opening, and a dispensing tube, filled with powder or liquid and designed to be attached to hunting equipment, headgear, or clothing, wherein pressing on the outside of the device causes a puff of powder or vapor to be dispensed into the air, allowing the user to determine wind direction.
Extensible pesticide applicator
An extensible pesticide applicator is provided enabling application of both liquid and powdered insecticides to distal, out-of-reach areas. An extensible pole has a distal and a proximal end for manual wielding whereby a pair of nozzles is deployable proximal an out-of-reach habitat. Pressurization of ambient atmosphere into the extensible pole is enabled by a pump member and timed release of the pressurized ambient atmosphere to forcibly eject powdered and alternately liquid pesticide from the distal end is enabled by manual action effected to depress a trigger member. Direct application of pesticide is thereby enabled to distal and out-of-reach habitat without a user coming into proximity with the habitat or the pesticide released.
Hands-free attachable wind detection device
A wind detection device of a generally bisected cylindrical-type shape with a flat face at the bisection, for attachment to other devices such as a hunting bow, having opaque or translucent walls formed of an impermeable material such as plastic where one end narrows down to an opening for a lid to attach to and seal device; and where lid narrows down further to another cylindrical-type shape with another, smaller opening for contents of device to exit through.
Container for discharging powder
The present invention disclosed herein relates to a container for discharging powder, in particular, a container for discharging powder having a structure wherein a discharging hole of a button part and a connecting hole of a stem are connected or dislocated according to rotation directions, and an opening/closing member is inserted into the stem inside the button part and ascends/descends according to a rotation of the button part, and thereby opens/closes a movement hole of the stem, such that it will solve inconvenience problems such as attaching/detaching the opening/closing member whenever using as well as prevent a risk of losing the opening/closing member, thereby providing user convenience.
Medication delivery systems and methods
The present disclosure relates to a medication delivery system including a medication administration device, a medication within the medication administration device, a container defining a cavity receiving the medication administration device, and a cap attached to the container and sealing the medication administration device within the cavity. The medication administration device includes an actuator extending from a body and operable to expel the medication by depressing the actuator into the body. The cap includes hold down members positioned to bear against the body of the medication administration device to prevent movement of the medication administration device toward the cap beyond a predetermined distance. The medication administration device is thereby prevented, inter alia, from prematurely discharging the medication during storage and transport.
NASAL DELIVERY DEVICE FOR A POWDER
A nasal powder dispenser device having a reservoir containing at least one dose of powder; a nasal dispenser head for inserting into a user's nostril, the nasal dispenser head including a dispenser orifice; and an air expeller that, during actuation of the nasal powder dispenser device, generates a flow of compressed air so as to dispense a dose of powder into the nostril through the dispenser orifice. The air expeller has an air chamber and a piston that slides in airtight manner in the air chamber so as to compress the air contained in the air chamber. In the nasal powder dispenser device, a pressure of the flow of compressed air generated by the air expeller is higher than 0.7 bar; and a volume of the air chamber is greater than 1700 mm.sup.3.
APPLICATORS FOR APPLYING FIBERS TO SURFACES
An applicator for applying fibers to a surface is described herein. The applicator includes a body having a first end and a second end. The first end has a first opening configured to couple to a container housing the fibers and to receive the fibers from the container. The second end has a second opening for dispensing the fibers from the body. The applicator also includes an air flow generating member for creating an air current for propelling the fibers through the second opening as the fibres pass along a pathway between the first opening and the second opening. The fibers are directed along the pathway from the first opening towards the second opening and into the air current by gravity.
DEVICE FOR NASAL DELIVERY OF POWDER
Device having a reservoir containing a dose of powder, a head having an orifice, an actuating member displaceable with respect to the head, and an air vent generating a flow of compressed air for delivering the dose of powder into the nostril through the orifice. The air vent has a chamber, formed by a cylinder, and a piston which slides sealingly within the cylinder in order to compress the air contained in the chamber. The device has an insert forming the piston and interacting sealingly, in a rest position, with the reservoir, the insert being axially displaceable with respect to the reservoir between its rest position and an actuation position, in which it no longer interacts sealingly with the reservoir.
