A flame coating machine for coating field joints of a pipeline has a flame spray system having two flame spray units configured for heating and/or coating with a thermoplastic polymer an annular junction portion and two annular end portions of an existing coating delimiting the annular junction portion; a control system having two temperature sensors configured for acquiring temperature values along the surface collectively defined by the annular junction portion and the annular end portions, and a control unit configured for actuating the flame spray unit in a polymer flame spraying mode or in a flame heating mode as a function of the detected temperature values and at least one threshold value.

The present disclosure provides a self-traction wire coating robot and a wire routing and wire hanging method, wherein the robot includes a mounting plate, a material pushing module, a winding traction module, a coating module, a walking module and a power supply and control module, wherein the coating module and the walking module are rotatable in the extension direction of the non-overhead bare wires, when hanging wires, the coating module and the walking module are first rotated and swung to the side of the robot, an unmanned device is then used to hang a traction belt on the overhead bare wires, the winding traction module tightens the traction belt to hang the robot under the overhead bare wires, and then the coating module and the walking module are controlled to rotate and recover to the top of the robot and hang the robot on the overhead bare wire.
ADJUSTABLE CANTILEVERED PAINT ACTUATION SYSTEM
A surface treatment assembly for treating a contoured surface includes a surface treatment array formed from a plurality of base structures, each base structure operably coupled to a first phalange structure and a first phalange structure first end. A second phalange structure operatively coupled to each first phalange structure and a phalange joint disposed between each first phalange structure and each second phalange, thereby forming a finger structure. Moreover, at least one applicator head is coupled to a second phalange structure second end of each finger structure and configured to treat the contoured surface. A base structure actuator and a phalange joint actuator operatively coupled to and configured to manipulate the first phalange structure and the second phalange of each finger structure to adjust the surface treatment array relative to the contoured surface.
Apparatus for coating pipes
Apparatus for coating a pipe. The apparatus includes a first frame to be mounted on a pipe and a second frame rotatably mounted on the first frame. An induction heating coil comprised of electrical conductors is mounted on the apparatus. A coating applicator is mounted on the second frame and is arranged to apply coating onto a surface of the pipe on which the apparatus is mounted. The first frame, second frame and coating applicator are arranged such that when the apparatus is mounted on the pipe, the applicator is disposed to one side of the induction heating coil and able to apply coating to a surface of the pipe alongside the surface of the pipe underlying the induction heating coil. The first frame may be operable between an open state in which the frame may be placed over and removed from a pipe and a closed state in which the frame may capture a pipe thereby to mount the apparatus on the pipe.
Washer peeler cleaning system
An apparatus for cleaning a food-processing machine having cylindrical rolls disposed along a curve, each of the rolls having a peripheral working surface for contacting food products and an axis about which each roll rotates. A drive rail is mounted parallel to the axes of the rolls and extends the length of the rolls. A spray bar slidably mounts to the drive rail, extends adjacent the rolls, and has at least one nozzle for spraying liquid onto the working surfaces of the rolls to clean them of debris. A prime mover drives the spray bar along the drive rail parallel to the axes of the rolls while spraying the rotating rolls.

A system for grit blasting an annular junction portion of a pipeline extending along a longitudinal axis on board a laying vessel, comprises at least one carriage configured to advance along an annular path about the pipeline; at least one centrifugal turbine, which is configured to project grit towards the pipeline, rotates about a rotation axis lying on a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis and is supported by the carriage; at least one feed device configured to feed the grit to the centrifugal turbine and comprising a hopper which extends along a respective axis, defines a feed chamber and is coupled to the respective carriage and a guide device configured to act in conjunction with the hopper to feed the grit to the centrifugal turbine at all the operating positions of the carriage.
APPARATUS FOR COATING PIPES
Provided is an apparatus for coating a girth weld and a cutback region surrounding said girth weld, said apparatus having lateral travel at least equal to the length of the cutback region and circumferential rotational travel around the pipe. The apparatus can provide a multiple component coating accurately and safely, without the need for solvent flushing of the apparatus.
